Im being charged for product that i was told on my receipt was no longer available.U dont charge a person for product until it is ready to ship. Economics common sense.
Placed order on November 1. Order not shipped 5 weeks later. Customer service would not refund or offer a ship date. Filed CC claim. Order was shipped immediately. Closed claim after 3 weeks from receipt of order. Company tried to ask for funds again even though funds were never removed from their account. Plus a penalty was charged. Oldies.com not what they used to be.
I placed an order 15 days ago and it has not been processed or shipped despite being charged. I have reached out multiple times to try to get assurance this is a good order or get an ETA on when it will be shipper but they have been unresponsive. Update: Customer service reached back out to me to advise the product was oversold and could not be fulfilled. They are working to provide a solution. While not ideal, they are working to fix the issue
Beware! I placed a large order online, and the credit card charge immediately went through for the full amount. (Most items showed as in stock, with a few “special order items” which easily leads customer to expect delays). Three weeks later, I received one item from my order, by mail. No other items were sent or received. No updates from the company at all. I contacted the company and they claimed that my whole order was “delivered” (citing the “delivery” of the one single item that was sent), despite me telling them the package sent was only one item in my order- and the postage on the small mailer was consistent with only one item- verified with post office. This is a classic deceptive/fraudulent business practice-collect money for products not sent to a customer.
My package arrived super-fast, as usual. Great email tracking updates kept me informed and up-to-date for most of the short duration between ordering and getting my package. And speaking of packing, it was packed and secured as good as any place I buy from, solid as a rock. I've bought quite a few hauls from Oldies.com over the past 2-3 years and the experience has always been top shelf, which is why I keep coming back for more!
I ordered 8 CDs on 6/2/25. I wrote in my ledger I should receive them by 6/20/25, but I did not. Their website continued to say the order was “in process”. On 6/27 I called a csr. He said they have all but one CD, which has to be imported. He said they should receive it in a few days, and that I would get an email when they were sent to me. This is 7/10, the site still says “ in process”, I’ve received no info from them, so I filed a dispute with my credit card company, and received a full instant credit.
