I selected a couple of items for my wife: a necklace and a bracelet that seemed to match well enough for her to wear together. Weeks after placing the order and making the payment, I was informed that the necklace was no longer available and that I needed to choose a replacement. Unfortunately, no link was provided for me to select an alternative. I had to search for the company's website myself, and naturally, I couldn't find anything that would match the bracelet. I requested a refund but received no response. Eventually, I picked another completely different bracelet to give my wife for her birthday, and I was assured this was okay. My items were dispatched, but weeks later, I received two identical bracelets. I can't help but wonder if the employee who processed my order was indifferent or amused at taking my money while sending me two of the same piece of jewelry.
I came across an advertisement on social media for a UK-based company that claimed to handcraft all their jewellery. Upon receiving the ring, I found it lacked a hallmark and the central stone was defective. There was no guidance on how to return it for a refund as advertised. I later discovered the same ring on another platform and realized I had been significantly overcharged. Attempts to contact the company were futile, as they only suggested I select another item. If the ring was genuinely made in the UK, why would I need to send it back to China, which would cost nearly what I lost? I reached out to a payment service to report the issue, despite being advised by customer support to cancel my claim. I truly feel for those who purchased more items, as they may have lost even more money.
