I wish I had checked the reviews before I made an appointment. I knew more about my fireplace than the technician sent out, who was completely clueless. He installed the glass incorrectly and suggested we glue it back when he couldn't figure out how to secure it. I ended up solving the issue myself. After agreeing to a $69 'inspection', he tried to charge me $125 for cleaning. Total scam.
Regrettably, I didn't look at the reviews prior to scheduling an appointment. I had more knowledge about my fireplace than the technician they sent, who seemed completely uninformed. He installed the glass incorrectly and suggested gluing it back when he couldn't secure it. I ended up figuring it out myself. After agreeing to the $69 'inspection', he attempted to charge me $125 for cleaning. This feels like a total scam.
One star is already too generous. This service is a scam. I was apprehensive about the unusual phone service but gave them a chance. They performed a quick 'inspection' and then quoted me $722 for cleaning two flues. No legitimate chimney service charges that much. I declined and regrettably paid the $69 inspection fee. This is nothing but a fraudulent scheme disguised as a chimney service. Avoid it.

After conducting an inspection and showing me photos (which I doubt were of my property), they claimed significant repairs were necessary. Once completed, I paid and requested photos of the work, which I was promised. After multiple follow-ups, they always say they need to talk to a manager. They simply don’t care; they got their money. Avoid this service!

The dispatcher wouldn’t let me speak to a manager and hung up when I insisted. When my roofers arrived afterward, I discovered their work doesn’t meet code requirements. They are breaking laws, and I intend to pursue legal action.
