Do not use this company for your travels. Customer service is very poor. I had purchased on their website a ferry but they did not display "AM or PM" in the purchase times. I contacted their team 5-10 minutes after my booking asking to change from 4 to 1600 they failed to assist on the basis of genuine mistake. I was unable to use the ferry which was 4am and I needed 4pm. After showing them screenshots of the bug on the site, they still did not resolve the issue or offer any refund despite not using the Ferry. Out of pocket by 150 pounds. Really poor service, the customer service team don't speak fluent English too

It is ridiculous. In addition to the pricey tickets OMIO offers you an insurance (for extra-costs). But even in case of cancelled trains (for the whole day) this insurance does NOT want to do refunds. OMIO also does not offer any help. So now I paid a huge amount for getting absolutely nothing, wow! FRAUDERY as its best...?

Hello. I have bought 2 tickets for travelling in France. I was refused to enter the train in Paris and in Lille. While I tried to get the compensations none of the numbers were answering. No contact to anybody to get any info and support. I have used this company for over 2 years but now I feel so disappointed! I will never use this company in my life. Better avoid to save your time and energy.

Bought a ticket with the wrong date by mistake (totally on me). It was for the next day and I realized immediately, but I couldn’t make any changes or cancel it through the app. The app also didn’t have a clear way to contact customer service.

When I finally found the customer service email (no thanks to the app, but by googling around), I reached out and they said they couldn’t refund or change anything. After a couple of back and forth emails, they eventually told me it was due to the bus company’s policy and not because of them.

By that point, it was too late for me to contact the bus company myself. So in the end, I lost both my money and that chance because of poor customer service, which is also worth mentioning used passive aggressive language in their emails.

Awful experience. Never using this platform again. There’s nothing I can salvage from it. Even the ticket prices are ridiculous. I would recommend you use this app to search for trains and view best times but then BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE OPERATOR.
A train was cancelled by the operator and I still have not received a refund. Furthermore, I tried to rebook another train with OMIO and the money is PENDING and I have not received a new train ticket or this money back either!!!!

Deceptive listing, non-existent route. I bought a bus ticket through a platform for a Bucharest–Izmail route that ultimately was non-existent. Although the ticket was issued and payment was processed, the service could not be rendered. After initiating a dispute through a payment service, the platform initially denied any accountability, stating they were merely an intermediary. Later, they acknowledged a technical glitch on their end and confirmed that a full refund could be processed, but only if I retracted the dispute first — which would forfeit buyer protection. The payment service initially rejected the claim as the platform provided the ticket PDF as 'proof of delivery', despite the service never having been available. This illustrates how misleading listings can still be considered 'delivered'. The entire experience was stressful, lengthy, and necessitated persistent follow-ups on my part. I strongly recommend that others verify routes and carriers thoroughly and exercise caution with tickets purchased through this platform for international bus travel.

Trip Cancellation at the Last Minute

They cancelled my trip less than 24 hours before departure, offering alternatives that were completely unsuitable for me. Additionally, they did not reimburse the cost of the car I rented to make my scheduled appointments. Interestingly, the price of the car was not significantly higher than their bus service. They kept insisting that the bus was cancelled due to bad weather, yet there was no bad weather that day, and their buses an hour later ran as usual... NEVER AGAIN!

Formal Complaint About Poor Trip Management

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable management of my recent trip booked through the platform. What I experienced was not only unprofessional but also showed a blatant disregard for customers’ time, money, and basic rights. I purchased two connecting tickets from one city to another: • First leg • Second leg The first train was set to arrive at 15:12, but due to delays, it arrived at 15:30. This left me with only eight minutes to reach the other side of the station with luggage. Despite rushing through the entire station, aided by security who prioritized me in the lines, it was physically impossible to get to the second train on time. I reached the platform at 15:37, just one minute before departure, but the staff still refused to open the doors, claiming I “should have been there two minutes earlier.” Due to this clear scheduling failure for which the platform is entirely responsible, I had to buy two new tickets for myself and my partner, costing 405 euros. I experienced unnecessary stress, financial loss, and a complete lack of respect from staff who ignored the situation, despite my having all the documentation and screenshots proving the delay. The customer service has since denied my request for a refund, even though the facts are indisputable. As a frequent traveler who spends significantly, I have never faced such negligence from a major service provider. This is not a misunderstanding; it is a failure of service and feels like outright mistreatment of customers. I demand immediate action and a full refund. If this issue is not resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate it through public reviews and legal channels. Shame on the platform for such unprofessional behavior.
