Fake products - purchased 28 Dec 25 from their trading name A1 Tech Deals.
Purchase a pair of Sony Linkbuds S as my old ones broke. When arrived the packaging seemed fine but when I got to opening them however the charging case didn’t feel right, I used my previous buds all the time and was used to flipping the lid up and down on my previous ones, this lid felt plastic and not rubber like which the Sony ones are and more steady. The sound also seemed fine but after a few hours went off (they're not now working). After more scrutiny I noticed there was no Sony hallmark printed on the actual buds, again this is something that I know the originals have and, even in A1 Tech’s advert pic for the product shows on the buds. Just to make sure of my suspicions, as I don’t want to accuse without proof, I went to Curry’s who confirmed the buds are fake, a really good fake pair mind you but nevertheless fake. I’ve emailed A1 Tech to request a refund due to the faulty item and 12 months warranty etc but that aside, the fact they’re not legitimate is disappointing as you put trust in these companies. Hopefully they’ll refund and if not will raise with PayPal. Worth noting that this company is actually omnibytes Ltd t/a A1 tech Deals who have a very poor rating for reviews.

Hopefully this will save someone from buying from A1tech deals which is the trading name of Omnibytes. This is scam company if you encounter issues read the real 1 star reviews on A1 tech deals before buying…currently I am 470 pounds out of pocket as they basically don’t refund…thier refund policy is illegal but it doesn’t matter as they don’t refund anyway …good luck if you decide to go ahead and purchase
Initially this seemed like a great deal, but it has ended up costing more than buying elsewhere.I ordered an iPad and an Apple Pencil as a Christmas gift. The iPad was cheaper than other retailers, likely because it was an American import (the power adapter was supplied loose in the box). However, the Apple Pencil was missing from the delivery.I tried calling multiple times with no answer and also used the website contact form and live chat, neither of which received a response. After several days, I finally received a reply to an email asking whether the delivery box had been tampered with. It had not — the issue was simply that the full order was not included.Since then, I’ve had no further communication and the missing item has still not been sent. As a result, this iPad has actually cost me more than it would have from other retailers.I would avoid this company to prevent disappointment and unnecessary additional costs.
Rubbish.please don’t buy anything from this company. When you need a refund they send a address to a third party company that doesn’t exist. On enquiry as to the when the refund will be received, they come up with a outlandish statement that says that the product wasn’t in the returns box! No further contact from them
Absolutely horrendous customer service. Paid for 2 floodlight ring cameras and they only sent one. Still no refund or replacement. UPDATE oct 2025 - Amended my review as they have now apologised and refunded the error. 1 star now 3.
I bought a Samsung Fit3 which isn't counting steps properly and everytime I email them I get a standard response advising steps to correct. I have done all the steps and still now working properly. I have asked for a refund and address to return and they continue to send the standard response. Totally rubbish and cannot get in touch with anyone.
