Customer service was excellent. From the time I processed for the transfer to the activation date, everything went smoothly. All the staff I spoke to were very helpful.
I know it depends on who you get. Chartwell One NZ really gave me amazing service, the guy I dealt with had knowledge and did his best everywhere. I walked out happy. Phone conversations with the fibre team went really greay for me as well. I have not had a day of bad connection with mobile or fibre. I use the internet to great extremes and download huge file all the time without any delay
I've been with this company ever since it first started out as Bell South, since NZ has taken over it, I had only 3 technical issues that was by upgrades and sorted within a few minutes of me calling them.
The service center are polite and courteous and do all they can to assist with anything I ask and tell them about, if the company continues to perform like this I have no issues of staying with them.
Having had a prepay account for some years I wanted to stick with One NZ for a new fibre account. I had no problems getting this installed or managing my account online. Value for money in my opinion.

First, resolve the system problems, then focus on enhancing staff quality. The skilled individuals who excelled seem to leave, and the current team often appears either in training or disinterested unless there's a sale involved.
Even one star is too generous. The customer service is absolutely ineffective. You end up speaking with an automated system that wastes your time, repeating the same issues without resolution. They failed to send the code, yet insisted that I hadn't entered it correctly! Completely unhelpful! It's incredibly frustrating dealing with this company every single time!
