We just completed an incredible 8-day family adventure in Jordan, and we are truly impressed by the service. The planning process was straightforward, and they were more than willing to tailor our itinerary to allow us extra time in Wadi Rum, which stood out as a highlight for us. We explored Amman/The Citadel, Jerash, Mount Nebo/Madaba, Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea. They managed all the logistics—accommodations, guides, and transportation—allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our trip. Our driver was excellent, accommodating our requests seamlessly, and the hotels they arranged were exceptional with delicious food. We felt secure and well-cared for throughout our journey! Traveling with two teenagers can be challenging, but the service made it completely hassle-free. We wholeheartedly recommend them and will certainly choose them again.
OsirisWe had a fantastic month long trip to Egypt and Jordan with the help of Mahmoud. He was extremely helpful from the very beginning stages to the very end of our trip. He made absolutely sure that everything we wanted was included in our trip and made many many helpful suggestions that vastly improved upon my initial plans. He even double checked our flight arrangements and noticed our flight home had been changed (I had neglected to let him know) as to be sure we had someone to guide us through the airport one last time!During our trip, actually on the flight there, we missed our connecting flight and were delayed 3 hours. Not to worry, we emailed Mahmoud and our wonderful driver, Hussain and Raymond (?) the logistic guy were patiently waiting for us! Our time in Cairo was amazing. Ahmed was the perfect guide, the Four Seasons was wonderful and our itinerary perfect, from the pyramids to the Gem and everything in between. We then flew to Aswan, met Essam our guide and Mohammed our driver. Essam was fabulous, funny, caring and amazingly flexible. He was very attuned to when we were getting tired and made adjustments accordingly. We loved Luxor, the Hilton was an oasis to come back to and the Temples and Tombs we visited unbelievable. Abu Simbel was a highlight but all the other places we visited were amazing as well. We were glad we stayed in Luxor for 4 nights as there was so much to see and this allowed us to do it at a leisurely pace.We then spent 10 days at the Red Sea. I chose the locations and accommodations here as we do a lot of snorkeling and I wanted more input for this part. The place I chose first wasn’t as nice as I’d hoped and after a quick email to Mahmoud we transferred to the second place earlier than first planned. It was perfect. Mövenpick was fabulous and the snorkeling excellent.Next stop, Amman. We were met by Hussain, who was our driver for the week, to take us to Petra. Hussain was far more than a driver as he pointed out all sorts of interesting details on the drive and even stopped to get us freshly picked apples! He took pictures of us all along our route and at many sites after we returned to Jordan giving us many wonderful memories. Our guide in Petra was Samir and if you are fortunate to have him you are very lucky! He not only took amazing pictures but knew this site inside out! Our guide in Amman, Issam, was also wonderful, so incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Amman was another place that I decided to change our itinerary upon our arrival and again Mahmoud, Issam, and Hussain made it happen! We thought we’d reached the end of Mahmoud’s careful care once Hussain dropped us off at the airport but no, Oday was there and shepherded us through to security. We cannot say enough good things about Mahmoud and his entire team!! We felt cosseted the entire time and the whole experience was unforgettable!
After looking at reviews and doing some research on various tour companies, we hired Osiris tours last August to plan our trip to Egypt for July-August 2025. This was a bucket list trip for my husband and I, we knew we wanted it to be special. Both of us were against the idea of going with a big tour group and we wanted a custom itinerary that reflected everything we wanted to do/see. Osiris Tours more than delivered on this. From the moment I reached out for a quote, the owner of the company Mahmoud was super responsive and remained so throughout the entire process, often responding within an hour to my emails. I had a lot of questions and he happily accommodated. He even called me on the phone shortly after my first email so he could get a sense of what we were looking for, what sites we wanted to visit and what our budget was. Within an hour I had a custom itinerary in my inbox, which Mahmoud helped us to refine until we got the perfect one for us!The trip itself was completely flawless from the moment we landed in Cairo. We were immediately greeted by our airport representative, Ramadan, who was fantastic and went above and beyond. The hotel in Cairo (the 4 seasons at the First Residence) was beautiful and luxurious. Our tour guide in Cairo, Ahmed, was so knowledgeable and so nice. Our drivers expertly navigated the hectic Cairo roads. Our transfer by plane to Aswan was flawless as well. The largest portion of our trip was in Aswan and Luxor, which we absolutely loved. In Aswan we stayed at the Sonesta Nouba boutique hotel, which was so tranquil and beautiful. In Luxor, we stayed at the Hilton resort off the Nile; which we fell in love with When arriving in Aswan, we met our second tour guide, Essam (Sam), who was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. He was with in Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor and took care of everything. Sam taught us so much, which as history buffs ourselves was so nice. He even made suggestions for switching out items in our itinerary on the go after getting to know us and our interests, which ended up being completely spot on. Sam was kind, conscientious, passionate about Egyptian history and we had so much fun with him. Our drivers during this portion of the trip were also fantastic. I can honestly say that this trip more than exceeded our expectations. We had an incredible time, we always felt very safe and every portion of the trip (from airport transfers ans hotel check in’s to long drives and site visits) felt absolutely seamless. I’m sure a lot of work went on behind the scenes to organize all of this and we are so grateful. Both my husband and I had wanted to visit Egypt since we were children and Osiris Tours made that dream come true. Do not hesitate to book them if you’re looking for a bespoke private tour, you will have an incredible experience.
Osiris:We chose Osiris based on the reviews we read and it was the absolute best decision! Great communication, very organized, and able to make recommendations for the flow of the trip and sites to visit. Recommended doing the private tour with an assigned driver and archaeologist versus the cruise because we wanted a more intimate experience with the culture. We are so glad we took the advice! This was my first time visiting a country that was so different from the United States and not once did I ever worry, nor was I afraid. The positive reviews for Osiris are well earned. We recommend using them highly.Cairo/GizaThe old Museum and the GEM museum had beautiful exhibits. We also enjoyed the tour of the Akhnaton Carpet School and learning how the carpets are made. The jewelry at the Memlouk Jewelry Store was beautiful and high quality. We found the Khan El Khalili Bazaars bright colorful and exciting. The Four Seasons hotel was very elegant and the room was exquisite. Service was impeccable.AswanWe really enjoyed the Felucca sailboat ride. The Nubian jewelry we bought is high quality and we enjoyed the song they sand us. Great memories! My favorite event there was visiting the Philae Essence Palace. The scents bring back so many Egyptian memories. We also picked up spices at El Atar Spices. The blends were very tasty and we also bought some chamomile tea.The Sonesta Nouba Hotel was cheerful and colorful and you couldn’t beat eating breakfast by the Nile River every morning.LuxorVisting the tombs was awe inspiring. I would definitely be sure to include the Valley of the Queens because we felt the colors of the hieroglyphics was superior to all of the sites and the stories were so interesting. Best of all, my husband found a 2000 year old Bronze Roman coin which we turned over to the people on site so it could be retained as part of the site. It made the whole trip for him, who always wanted to be an archaeologist. The Hilton Spa and Resort was our favorite hotel of all. It was elegant, the food was fantastic, especially at the Silk Road restaurant. Radwan the manager, Emera the Chef, Naira and Moustafa the servers all greeted us warmly every night. We were made special meals and desserts that were absolutely delicious. We loved it so much, that we never ate anywhere else. Wadi RumWe were met at the airport upon arrival. He was a life saver because we didn’t realize that binoculars had to be under a specific strength and so they were confiscated and held until our trip was over. He was very instrumental in taking care of this so it wasn’t an unpleasant experience. The language barrier would have been very difficult for us if we had been on our own.Our driver really added a lot to this trip. He was our driver and our guide. Aicha Memories Camp was our camp. We chose one of the individual yurt-type hotel rooms that had the clear panels in the ceiling so we could see the stars. The room was opulent. The juxtaposition of the stark landscape with the luxurious room couldn’t have been better. We had electricity, a full bathroom in the room and wifi. The breakfast buffet was amazing. So many items to choose from with fresh vegetables, fruits and homemade omelets. This was followed by a three hour jeep ride in the desert. We saw a herd of camels, fig trees growing out of a crevice between two boulders, and the landscape was absolutely amazing! Sultan was our guide on this tour and took us to special places like the area where the camels would travel to for water. We also had Bedouin tea. Delicious! Petra / The TreasuryHe also our driver and guide at Wadi Musa. For the actual tour of The Treasury we had a Samir was our guide. He took some amazing pictures and the walk to the location was absolutely beautiful and reminded me of Antelope Canyon in the United States. The Movenpick Petra hotel was absolutely stunning. The breakfast buffet was delicious.
We recently returned from a once-in-a-lifetime, fully customized 10-day private tour of Egypt arranged by Osiris Tours—and we can’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, every detail was seamlessly executed, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the incredible history and beauty of Egypt without any stress or hassle. Our journey took us from the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza to the ancient “Golden City” of Aswan, and through the legendary Valley of the Kings, Queens, Nobles, and Workers in Luxor. Along the way, we explored countless temples and tombs, each brought to life by our exceptional Egyptologist guides, Ahmed and Mahmoud “Hotep.” Their depth of knowledge and passion for Egyptology turned each stop into a captivating lesson in history, culture, and archaeology. They were truly masterful—some of the best guides we’ve ever had.The entire tour was private, with just us, our guide, and a dedicated driver. Osiris Tours took care of everything—internal flights, luxury accommodations at the Four Seasons Cairo, Sonesta Aswan, and Hilton Luxor, and even airport handlers to ease every transition. We also enjoyed unforgettable experiences like a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor and a private Nile cruise aboard a traditional felucca boat. Thanks to Osiris Tours, we felt completely safe, cared for, and enriched throughout the entire trip. It was educational, action-packed, and flawlessly organized. This was a journey we will never forget—and it was made entirely possible by the outstanding team at Osiris Tours.
As a female solo traveler, I had my apprehensions about visiting Egypt and Jordan. I wanted a personalized tour since most package tours don’t include all the places I wanted to see—and I definitely didn’t want to be part of a group tour where I’d have to wait on others.I'm very happy and satisfied with Osiris Tours. I simply told Mahmoud the places I wanted to visit and the activities I was interested in, and he took care of everything—from hotel bookings to domestic flights. Upon arrival at the airport, I was greeted and assisted by their representative and got through immigration quickly and smoothly.I was also very pleased with the drivers and tour guides Mahmoud provided. I felt safe and secure the entire time. The guides were knowledgeable and shared valuable insights about every site we visited. One of the best things about this tour was the flexibility—I could adjust my schedule and explore at my own pace.Everyone I encountered was helpful and accommodating, which made my trip to Egypt and Jordan not only smooth but also unforgettable. The quality of the hotel accommodations was great as well—I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Overall, I highly recommend Osiris Tours for anyone looking for a personalized and one-of-a-kind experience in Egypt and Jordan.
Don’t go to Egypt with anyone else! Osiris gave us the trip of a lifetime—special attention to every detail from the moment you step off the plane to when you sadly have to leave. Seamless service. All those providing those services were efficient and friendly, always with warm smiles and ready to help with whatever is needed. The hotels were wonderful, every dinner out a wonderful and delicious experience. We saw everything I had dreamed of seeing and more. Our guide, Essam Hamed, has to be the best in the business. Extremely knowledgeable and sharing that knowledge with us so clearly and with a wonderful sense of storytelling. He was so much fun and totally keyed in to the personalities and moods of the group. We never felt rushed and yet every day was packed with vivid experiences. I want to return right now, just thinking about it. Trip of a lifetime.
A truly phenomenal experience! I think that any visitor to Egypt would have a great experience, but Osiris Tours made it the trip of a lifetime. Our guide, Essam, was so incredibly knowledgeable and congenial and warm. I learned so much from him, but what set him, and Osiris Tours, apart is the care with which they treated us. I had small glimpses of the work they did behind the scenes for us, arranging travel, tours, airport travel, etc. (Hossam went out of his way to pick us up even though we arrived early and were staying with another hotel before our tour began!) And, I am certain there was so much more I did not see. They are masterful facilitators. I cannot name another trip or time in my life where I felt so entirely cared for and tended to. From beginning to end, they ensured our comfort, safety, and whims! It was a luxury experience in every way.
Stupendous tour! Well organized and efficient from the airport pick up to the drop off. All the guides and drivers were very friendly, but Sam stood out by a mile! Engaging and knowledgeable, he really brought ancient Egypt to life. Can't recommend them enough!
My experience with this tour company was nothing short of excellence. From travel arrangements, to safety, to in-depth experiences, everything was top tier. Our guide, Essam, truly was the keystone of an extraordinary adventure. He was caring, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. If I have a chance to return to Egypt, Essam and Osiris Tours is who I am calling.
