I recently purchased the Mystery Surprise Box from Oud Attar, curious about the “surprise” items promised. The site’s description reads:“Who doesn’t love a good surprise?• You’ll get a product worth more than £5• It could be an item that we don’t sell to the public”However, my experience shows that the reality does not match these claims. Every Mystery Surprise Box I received contained only a 2ml oil-based perfume, with no lotion or larger sprays (at least 10ml), which one might reasonably expect.For context, a 10ml spray perfume is priced at £14.36 on the website. Yet, the Mystery Surprise Box contains only a 2ml oil perfume and is sold for £5. Claiming that the product inside is worth more than £5 is therefore misleading. Additionally, every 2ml perfume included in the boxes is always available on the site, so the promise of a “unique” or “limited” product is inaccurate.I also noticed a suspicious pattern in the reviews. Many positive reviews are written under the Mystery Surprise Box product page, praising a 2ml perfume worth £5. The enthusiasm seems disproportionate to the actual product received, which raises questions about the authenticity of the feedback.Lastly, Oud Attar’s claims of meaningful discounts do not hold up under scrutiny. Using web.archive.org, I found that prices remain essentially the same over months and years. While the site may present temporary promotions, the base prices do not appear to change.In conclusion, the Mystery Surprise Box does not deliver on the promises made in the product description. It is misleading in terms of value, uniqueness, and surprise. Buyers should be aware that, despite the marketing, the box typically contains only a small 2ml oil perfume that is widely available and does not reflect a real £5+ value or any exclusive items.
The compliments I have received from so many people ( especially women) have been incredible . Recently while in Egypt I received so many comments about how do you smell so good ? And what on earth is that perfume you are wearing ? It’s so nice to receive so many compliments especially in far away places , absolutely wonderful perfumes
I wanted to give feedback to Oud Attar about their products and received a very prompt and helpful reply. There were no problems or issues I just wanted to comment. And no annoying bots. Actual people at the other end. I adore their scents and wanted to ask about a couple of them.
I ordered the sample set from this company previously so I did have high expectations for their Rose and Oud candle. Unfortunately the candle itself was a bit of a disappointment. It arrived well packed, in an elegant glass candle jar. I did the initial burn for around 90 mins to ensure that the candle would burn evenly but it showed signs of tunneling immediately. This was not the worst aspect, the candle itself had no fragrance whatsoever. I then proceeded to burn the candle at different intervals to see if the fragrance would get any stronger but unfortunately with now having burnt approximately half the candle there is no discernible change in the fragrance strength. It might look nice as a table piece but this most definitely is not a scented candle. I’ve bought candles from Aldi and ASDA that perform much better for a fraction of the price I paid for this. I did contact their customer service to report my experience but other than asking if I had followed instructions for a first burn they have not responded to my last message
I was hoping to buy something from the site until I had to go through a barrage of false claims about sale prices and XX% off and give me your email and we will give you a discount and popups. This site could be great if they weren't screaming at you every time you came onto it and the flashing we miss you come back nonsense. I'd be embarrassed to recommend this website to any of my peers and friends.
I placed an order on the 13th November and have not yet even received a dispatch email and still not order update. When I first contacted the team they assured me my item would be shipped Monday just gone, and yet it still hasn’t. I’ve tried contacting the customer service team multiple times for an update and have been ignored. I’m going to be requesting a chargeback to get my money back as they clearly do not care about their customers.
Brought lotion diffuser and mystery piece well lotion came damaged and leaked pump does not work but they are sending a new pump out hopefully diffuser I can not smell one bit and mystery item was roll on after shave thing not worth the money only thing I like from it all is the lotion save your money just buy the lotion.
