I don't recommend Oyster. Pathetic service. I have not received SWIFT payment in Feb'26. They didn't react well to track the payment. I received it after 20 days that too from an unknown source with unfavorable rate. The same issue is repeated this month too. I have been sending email after email but they hardly respond with useless detail. No Transparency - No Responsibility - No Traceability - that's what Oyster is all about.

In breach of Belgian labor law, it took them nearly a month to send over the documents I needed to file for benefits and apply for other jobs after, after a reorganization.The consequence of this, is that the benefits filing takes another month to be approved, meaning I am without a means of supporting myself while bills are coming in.If you are advertising yourself as an intermediary, well-versed in a country's labor law, it would behoove you to uphold said labor law, instead of screwing over the people who are unlucky enough to have to put up with you as the intermediary.
My experience with Oyster has been positive overall. The onboarding process was clear and well-structured, making it easy to understand my employment setup, contract details, and benefits. The platform itself is user-friendly and effectively centralizes important HR information, which is especially valuable in a global employment setup. I also appreciate the professionalism and support shown by the team when assistance is needed. To further improve the experience, faster response times for time-sensitive concerns and more proactive status updates would be helpful. Overall, Oyster is doing a great job enabling global employment, and with a bit more responsiveness, the experience would be even better.
Disappointed at how the brand handles external suppliers and potential partnerships. Lack of communication and poor expectation management. What I thought was the brand externally (and was very excited by) is not the brand that I encountered internally, ironically as a result of the brand team. I hope that others have a better experience than me!
