Disappointing experience with Paddywagon. While the destination was great, the service was non-exist

Disappointing experience with Paddywagon. While the destination was great, the service was non-existent. I was left behind in Kilkenny because I was slightly late for the bus. I understand the importance of a schedule, but the guide didn't even bother to call or text me to check if I was okay. Leaving a customer stranded in a different city without any communication is unprofessional and unsafe. Had to pay for my own transport back to Dublin. Think twice before booking if you expect any basic level of care

Lots of stops but Tons of Fun

I went on the Cliffs of Moher tour and the Giant's Causeway tour and I enjoyed both. There were kind of a lot of pit stops (especially with the Cliffs trip) as well as one or 2 stops by castles, with each trip, that I wasn't completely interested in (and also just kind of added to the trip lengths), but the history and information about rural/urban Irish areas and Ireland, in general, provided by the tour guides, as well as their Irish humor and customer support enhanced the grand ;) experience, on top of seeing the UNESCO sites

Driver Kevin was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the history of the ring and Kerry, and seemed genuinely passionate about the region. Great value and a lot of valuable information and recommendations to be handed off as to things to do in various parts of Ireland. 5stars.

Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable and was an outstanding tour guide. As an Irish descendant from Australia now living in the US, I found myself deeply moved at times listening to his stories. The black taxi tour in Belfast was not only fascinating but also thought-provoking, offering so much insight into the city’s history.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFEFirst guide (departure from Limerick)I don’t remember his name, only that he was originally from Ukraine. He acted as if he was doing us a favor by driving us around: unmotivated, bored, and never saying a single useful word about where we were going or what we were doing.First stop (extra charge)The first stop required an extra €16. If you didn’t pay, you were left wandering aimlessly around Killarney. A nice little town, but really nothing special to see.Bus change without noticeWithout any explanation, we were forced to change buses, wasting at least 40–45 minutes trying to figure out who should go to the Ring of Kerry and who to the Dingle Peninsula. The guides answered rudely and made no effort to speak clear or understandable English.Museum-village (another extra)Again, another place with an entrance fee. If you didn’t want to pay, you had to wait in the parking lot like an animal. I tried to ask questions and get some explanation, but this time the guides COMPLETELY IGNORED ME, just chatting with each other in the most rude and arrogant way.THE MOST ABSURD AND UNACCEPTABLE PARTThey took us to a beautiful viewpoint (the same picture they use as the cover of their tour). They only said “Take some photos and then we leave,” without giving us a clear time limit. After only 5–7 minutes of taking pictures, we suddenly saw the bus — only 50 meters away — starting to leave with ALL OUR BELONGINGS inside (money, documents, bags). We and other group members had to run desperately to chase it.The guide stopped but, instead of opening the doors, he showed us his phone as if we were late, with a SMUG little smile on his face. It honestly looked like he was enjoying it.I started shouting, because he insisted that we would now have to take a public bus. HOW COULD I POSSIBLY DO THAT IF YOU ARE DRIVING AWAY WITH MY MONEY AND DOCUMENTS?In the end, he let us back on, but make no mistake: if not, this company would have faced a POLICE REPORT FOR THEFT. The bus was literally 50 meters from us — he could have easily honked the horn or waved to let us know.Every serious tour in Ireland leaves a piece of paper with the departure time, because they know not everyone fully understands spoken Irish-English.For the rest of the trip, the guide kept MOCKING and HUMILIATING us in front of the other passengers.Other pointless stopsSeveral useless stops, only to take a couple of rushed photos.Final stop (waterfall & bathroom)We were given only 20 minutes, with the warning: “If you’re not all back, I will leave.” Just to walk down and back to the bus took around 10 minutes, leaving us only 15 minutes total. The waterfall was a 5-minute walk each way, so there was no time left to use the bathroom (which had a line anyway).THE MAIN GUIDE WAS MICHEL: ARROGANT, RUDE, AND HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL.At the end, we returned to Killarney, where once again we had to change bus and guide to get back to Limerick.I had already read many negative reviews about this tour, but unfortunately there are no competitors. I can now confirm: STAY ABSOLUTELY AWAY FROM THIS TOUR (PADDYWAGON – the green buses). The places like the Ring of Kerry are stunning, but find another way to see them.Important note: in the booking confirmation email, it actually says that “smiling photo reviews are appreciated” and that if you do it you may win €100 a month. That explains why so many positive reviews can’t be trusted.
