I am beyond disgusted with the Papa John's Pizza in Kelowna, BC (Rutland)...After a previous unsatisfactory order, my girlfriend and I were given a code for a free pizza. We decided to use it after a long day of work, thinking it would save us the hassle of making a late dinner. I placed the order online at 12:15 AM, and according to the tracker, the pizza was done and ready for pickup. My girlfriend drove to the location, only to find the doors locked, the lights off, and not a single person in sight. She called me, confused and upset while I double checked the tracker. It still said the pizza was ready, then the page refreshed and a messaged appeared stating the order was cancelled, andIt wasn’t even 1 AM... and that being said, the experience was a complete let down and a waste of our time and gas. We weren’t even notified that the order had been cancelled or that we couldn’t order that late. No courtesy call, no heads-up, absolutely nothing.When I sent in a complaint, the response from the manager was the final straw. Not only was he rude and dismissive, but he offered zero apology and showed no interest in fixing the situation. His email was outright insulting, leaving me disgusted by the treatment I received. I replied asking if he could at leaste offer us another coupon code to reorder, and he replied back stating that he has done all that he could do and refused to give another code to reorder the pizza we never received in the first place.This level of customer service is appalling and completely unacceptable.I will never order from Papa John’s again. Having worked in the food service industry myself, I understand the importance of going above and beyond for customers. My team and I were properly trained to deliver customer service that was not only professional but also memorable and positive. Sadly, it’s clear those days of true customer care are long gone.

We ordered a pizza and had 30 pounds taken from our account. The website said there was a problem on tracking. We called the store. They said they would put us through to a manger then hung up: we got put through to a manger who then turned out to not be a manger. They then admitted they were not manager and lied to us! They said they would call back in five minutes they did not. We then called six times no answer. Then got put through to the same person they said there were a nothing they could do we would have to contact papa johns.com. They said despite being told we would speakTo a manager that none was available and no manager was on sight. We said either deliver our food or give us a refund. They said they could not do that: we asked for their name they reluctantly gave us there first name. We asked for their manager’s name they said Jake! We said Jake who! They said I do not know. Absolutely ridiculous shocking customer service the worse. Thirty pounds down no food. Been lied to repeatedly, hung up on!! This is Mutley plains pizza in Plymouth! Do not order here! Thinking you are ordering from a trusted name to only be hung up on and lied to repeatedly

The delivery fee needs to be explained and stated for what it is, a farce! The driver doesn't get it, and there's NO difference in what the store has to do to get the pizza to me whether I pick it up or they deliver it. I tip the drivers at least $5.00 for each pie delivered, always over 20%. But, adding an extra delivery fee is highway robbery and is just dishonest when the driver isn't getting it and you didn't have to do anything else to get my pizza in the box before the driver takes it? The fee started at $2.00, and quickly climbed to $3.75 within a couple years? It's now $4.00, and I think its more in some places. It's actually cheaper now to order the pizza through Door Dash than delivery. I'm just done with being cheated by these Charlatans! How crooked and despicable can you possibly be to gouge customers for a FAKE fee? START BEING HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS!! Either remove the fee or itemize what it's for and where it goes!! Damn Crooks!
