I was a regular customer of this company for over a year, a subscriber who received regular shipments at intervals. That all changed today after speaking to Helen, a supervisor regarding my most recent shipment. The company uses Amazon shipping to deliver their products. I am a disabled individual who lives in a house bordered by a sidewalk which beyond the sidewalk is landscaped by rocks on an uneven terrain in Arizona. There is a sidewalk that goes up alongside the driveway and to the front door. There are also stepping stones that lead from the sidewalk that lies parallel to the street and comes to the front door. I have always received packages delivered to the front door by Amazon and every other carrier without exception. When I received notification that my package from Parent Giving had been delivered I looked outside the door and there was no package. Perplexed, I assumed it was delivered to the wrong house. I went online to look and see if there was a photograph of the delivery. There was indeed. Instead of delivering the box to the vicinity of the front door, the box was left immediately adjacent to the front sidewalk that runs along the side of the street, atop the first two stepping stones that are inside the rock landscape. This was an ideal location for anyone walking by or driving by to scoop down and steal the box which has become a common problem in the United States. I could not believe that a delivery carrier would leave a package there so carelessly, especially since it's obvious that a disabled individual lives here by the ramp that is in front of the front door. When I contacted Parent Giving to let them know about the situation, naively believing that they had some arrangement that their deliveries were covered by insurance, I was told that their arrangement is that deliveries are left at the property and it is not unusual for them to be left at the sidewalk. I said it is not usual for Amazon to leave packages at the sidewalk ever. The response I received from Helen, who due to her British accent I perceive to be in the UK was hostile and rude. My response to her was likewise because I assumed she was in the UK and unaware of how things are done in the United States. Well it turns out I was wrong because Parent Giving at that phone number has an office in Montclair, New Jersey. So Helen is a British expatriate residing in the United States who is aware of the customs of this country particularly of delivery companies. She told me to complain to Amazon delivery and took no responsibility for the situation. I hung up after a few words with her which were not polite, but then called back to cancel my subscription at which point she answered the phone. Apparently their company is doing so well that they don't need regular subscribers who are unhappy with their delivery methods. I would not recommend this company unless you're a person who likes to hang around near your front window and wait for a delivery to show up and then run out to the sidewalk to get it. I will be seeking the products that I bought from them elsewhere in the future which is now because my items were stolen.
DILEMMA AFTER DEBACLES WITH DELIVERIESDelivery delays are a well know consistent problem.Extensive delays, errors & omissions last week delivery.... I opened box it was filled with ANTS! Trashed the contents & the box. Require immediate replacement & NOT from ONTRAC or USPS .AMAZON "unable to resolve", advised to contact Parent Giving, they claim AMAZON must resolve. Absurb!
Ordered a product I needed immediately for a hospice patient. Called immediately after ordering to cancel once I figured out it wasn’t going to arrive quick enough. Helen the one and only customer service representative was rude and strung me along telling me I couldn’t ask for a refund until I received the product. Now telling me it’s to costly for me to return for a refund. It’s definitely her way of trying to keep my money.i did reach out to my financial institution and they are going to help me with a provisional credit, while trying to sort out the company’s satisfaction guarantee
The seller through Amazon is atrocious!!! According to Amazon the carrier picked up an order on May 14, as of today May 30 the package is yet to arrive. Additionally when I contact them through Amazon they have failed to respond. Called them directly and the lady was absolutely rude. Run away from the outfit and never order anything. You will get the run around.
These are the best diapers. Yes they are expensive, but worth every penny. My Mom is in hospice at our home, and we can receive free diapers through them. The only time I use the free ones is when the nurse comes to bath her, and she puts it on. After just a few hours she is totally wet everywhere. That never happens with the parent giving ones, they never leak, so Mom is always comfortable. Thanks so much!
