Review Time
I had a QR code from a restaurant I visited, but the reader failed to recognize it. As a result, I had to use mobile payment to exit the garage, which was stressful due to a long line of cars behind me and only one machine available. Ultimately, I paid and left, but there was no one around to assist in the situation.
The website is very error-prone and difficult to use. After scanning the QR code, it redirects to the site, prompts for a sign-in, then restarts the entire process, forcing you to search for the parking lot again. I've encountered this issue several times, and each attempt took more than five minutes to resolve.
This parking structure used to be decent but it has really gone down hill recently. The garage is dirty with trash laying about. It is also overflowing with cars and they only place we could park was on the top floor which has no elevator access. The stairwell is a tripping hazard with sandbags blocking the entrance to the stairs. The shuttle took 45 minutes to pick us up from the airport and when we finally made it back to our car we discovered another car (valeted) parked behind us and blocking us in. Another 15 minute wait for one of the employees to find the keys to the valeted car and come and move it. While trying to exit the garage the gate reader wouldn't scan the bar code of our prepaid paper and we had to track down yet another employee to let us out.
Total Low Class Operation. 30 Minute wait to get picked up. They had one van running at 8pm timeframe. Van is old with torn seats and the driver was on the phone the whole time while picking passengers up. Got to checkout only to realize the third party reservation did not put in correct times. The fee was $12 cash or 30% more if you used a credit card for being off by 7 hours. I wouldn't use this low class operation again if they were the only parking spot available. Scam!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I thought Southbay/105 Parking might’ve improved in 10 years—nope, it’s worse. Two-hour wait at the airport for a van that never came, repeated lies from staff, and calls ignored. Took a $50 Uber instead. Back at the garage, blocked in by another car, gate wouldn’t open, and the attendant had the audacity to say it “normally costs $125 for valet”—valet service? Never existed. ZERO service, endless lies, total chaos. Stay far away.
Joe Lot put misinformation. Joe Lot stated it is convenient for jury duty and it implied that it give discount.It specified rate $33 for 12 hours with expectation that it is prorated. I was at jury duty for 2 hours and 21 minutes and Joe Lot charged me $33. At Jury duty I received discount bar code but it was not useful at Joe Lot. I suggest you try to avoid this parking place.
I used to park regularly at this garage; never again! They installed a computer system they don’t know how to use. They didn’t register my car correctly when I parked, and it took me 5 hours and long conversations with customer service to retrieve my car. Others were waiting for an hour for the valets to retrieve their cars; they apparently had inadequate information to find parked cars, and cars were lined up on the street for half an hour or more, because it took so long to register them. They should return to their old paper system!
