I was nearing the end of my one-year membership when I received a cancer diagnosis that changed everything for me. After several surgeries, I realized my membership was about to expire, so I reached out to inquire about my options. I misunderstood a somewhat unclear email response and thought they were suggesting I schedule my remaining appointments before the year ended. I followed this advice and completed all ten visits that I had already paid for. Later, I found out that I had been charged for a second year of membership, which I neither wanted nor needed. Although they offered a minor discount, I still ended up paying hundreds of dollars for a year of care that I did not utilize. I only attended the appointments that were part of my original membership. When I brought this issue to their attention, I was informed that they had to charge me because “they are a business.” If a healthcare provider cannot demonstrate flexibility or compassion for someone facing cancer, then I cannot recommend them.
I was a member for two years, attracted by their holistic approach to healthcare. Unfortunately, the reality did not meet the expectations set for a premium membership. Major issues included provider continuity problems; I had two different doctors leave during my membership, forcing me to restart my care each time, losing critical information in the process. My latest doctor forgot to order an essential lipid panel, despite it being a primary reason for my membership. Additionally, I struggled to get timely appointments due to apparent understaffing, which is unacceptable for premium pricing. I faced multiple billing errors and incomplete lab orders requiring follow-up corrections. When my membership was ending, I provided detailed feedback and inquired about a better offer, but received no response. This silence epitomizes the company's lack of genuine member care. Despite a compelling philosophy, the execution—especially regarding provider stability and consistent care—makes it hard to recommend at this price point.
I was nearing the end of my one-year membership, which included five sessions with a health coach and five with a doctor, when I received a cancer diagnosis that changed everything for me. I misunderstood a somewhat unclear email response and thought they were suggesting I schedule my remaining appointments before the year ended. Everything about this service feels insincere; they prescribed numerous tests and supplements but never followed up after receiving blood test results. Even after expressing my frustration, I received no response. It seems they simply do not care. My next step is to cancel my payment method on file.
I entered my information to set up an account in February 2024, considering their services. I believed I hadn't agreed to any charges. After choosing another option, I was unexpectedly billed $700 seven months later without any prior notification. When I reached out, their response was dismissive. I would have canceled my account earlier had I known about the charges. Due to this poor billing experience and customer service, I am terminating my service immediately and have filed a complaint.
I suggest looking elsewhere for functional medicine providers. I experienced significant turnover among staff, including doctors and customer care representatives. The doctors rushed diagnoses and didn't listen to my symptoms, leading to a frustrating experience. I felt like my concerns were dismissed, and the health coach was unhelpful. I cannot recommend this service.
Do not waste your time and money here. They will drain your wallet without being transparent about charges. Their marketing is misleading; the concept of functional medicine being offered does not align with true practices. I doubt the longevity of this company, as it seems to lack solid operational foundations.
This service has made it incredibly easy to address my hormonal imbalances. I am thoroughly impressed with both the doctor and health coach, as well as the overall process. It has exceeded my expectations for Telehealth and a root-centered approach.
