I reached out via their website contact form to find out if they offered an API. This is the exchange that followed. I'm confused and surprised at the abrasiveness toward a prospective customer asking, I think, very fair questions.----Me: Do you offer an API for better integration in an existing website?Lauren (Pawfinity): We offer a seamless integration into a website. What are you referring to as "better integration"?Me: Thanks, does this mean you do not have an API?Lauren: We do offer an API. Are you a pet business owner? It doesn't seem that there was any business information in your inquiry.Me: I am - I run a grooming salon. It appears that your offering is mostly geared toward non-technical users. I was looking for more information on a possible API, but there was nothing on your site indicating that you had one. Do you have reference documentation for the API as well? I'm interested in seeing what endpoints are available to see if this would be a proper service for what I need.Lauren: Can you please provide more information regarding your business, such as the business name, contact information, and website.Me: Is that a prerequisite for information on your offering? I have to give you my contact information beyond the email address you already have? Sorry, I'm having a hard time not reading your responses with a somewhat abrasive tone.- No response after my last reply ----Judge for yourself, but I can't imagine doing business with these people having experienced this simply by asking if they have an API.
Its got more complicated over the last 12 months and changes (without notice) have forced us to change the way we work.We have recently taken the difficult decision to move to another provider and how glad we are we have done this. I have suspended my subscription, which has another 10 days left and it clearly states we would still have access. The owner has gone out of his way to completely ban us from logging in for the simple fact we are moving and the software will not support us. When i asked on their facebook support group i received no response and was kicked out of the group.Avoid at all costs they clearly do not honor subscriptions and they have your data, which is core to your business working.
