I instructed PCS Legal in 2025 for a leasehold purchase and remortgage. Although the initial quote was competitive, the process was slow from the start, with delays in opening my file and frequent gaps in communication. My conveyancer changed midway through, and I often had to chase repeatedly for updates, with phone contact proving difficult.
While the transaction eventually completed, there are still unresolved post-completion matters, including retention funds and confirmation of final documents. Additional fees also increased the overall cost beyond the original quote.
Overall, the experience was stressful and frustrating due to poor communication and delays. I’ve submitted a formal complaint but have yet to receive a meaningful response.

I used PCS Legal for the purchase of my first property in November, which was completed by end of January. I received a lot of support information and could could call and get my questions answered. The only thing if anything that could have been improved, was closing out the transaction sooner once all documents and reports appeared to have been received.

No updates or acknowledgments have been provided. Clear and timely communication is essential in legal matters, and this has been lacking so far.

As someone who works in property and is accustomed to quick turnarounds, this level of service did not meet my expectations. Although they ultimately completed the task, I would not choose this service again based on my experience.

After nearly 7 months without a moving date, we chose to withdraw from the sale, feeling neglected. Better communication could have alleviated issues, and a simple update would have been appreciated.
