SCAM SCAM SCAM! Placed an order September 18th 2024 and never got the item, never got a shipping update past the first one. I’ve now tried to contact them TWICE and no response, no nothing. Might as well burn your money, at least you’ll get some heat from it rather than the NOTHING you’ll get here.
Absolutely terrible. Tried avoiding providing me with a refund as promised by online policy. Not manufactured in the U.S. (as the name suggests), but in a China warehouse on a road corner. Strongly tried to hide this from me after I requested a return address for a refund numerous times, instead tried offering more discounts and deals (I assume to push out the 2-week return policy so they could deny me a refund). This was coupled with lack of response to many of my emails. Eventually gave me the address and advised I would have to return to China, instructed me to lie on customs declaration about the value of goods (a federal offence), then refused to accept the customs delivery, meaning the item racked up delayed customs fees (sat in customs for 1 month). They then made me pay these fees in order to get my refund. Also refused to tell me their business number despite numerous requests. Products are low quality, corset 'ties' are literally string I would buy from a supermarket. You would be better off buying corset for $8.53 on eBay (they likely come from the same place and would save you the exorbitant $200+ cost). Would recommend avoiding this business at all costs - they are certainly not the sophisticated U.S.-based apparel line they appear to be on Instagram. I have lodged an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission about this scam business.
I ordered 4 corsets when they were in sale, but only when I tried to return them they told me I can't return them if they were sold in sale. I ordered 2 different sizes to fit the corset. Please make sure you state this CLEARLY on your website. A popup when you order 2 sizes of the same corset would also be nice, because obviously you're not going to want to keep them both.
The item was OK, but I tried to return for another size and they said it would have to be shipped to china at my own expense or I can keep it and receive a 20% refund. Seems like a total scam to me and I wish I had checked the trustpilot reviews before purchasing.
They sent me an extremely poor quality top passing as a corset. There is no boning in this item made of low quality material. It wasn’t worth the $77 I paid. I didn’t even try it on, and immediately on delivery, I requested a return address as per their 14 day policy. When I didn’t get a response, I filed a case with PayPal to enable me return the item on item. Sure enough, that got them to send me an email; see below verbatim: “Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your recent return and refund request. After reviewing your case and considering the condition of the product you want to return, we have decided to process your refund. Due to the relocation of our U.S. warehouse, we are unable to handle returns this month. As a result, we would like to request that you return the items to our factory in China at your own expense. Before returning the product, please consider the following options: You can return the items by yourself. Please return the package as a gift or declare a value not exceeding $5 , please be aware that you will be responsible for any taxes and shipping fee incurred during transit. Perfect Corset will not cover these expenses. If you love our corsets and want to avoid return shipping charges, you can choose to keep the corset and we will refund 30% of your payment. They advertise heavily on social media and give the illusion that they are, and that they’re reputable. The truth is that they are a scam organization in China defrauding people with their cheap products. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Read all the low rated reviews on here and see the pattern of their scam.
I wish I looked at the reviews before purchasing. When I looked afterward, I attempted to cancel my order. However, the representative informed me it couldn't be canceled because my order had already been shipped (although I didn't get the shipping notification until days later). Further, when the corset arrived, it was too small and the dress was low-quality. I attempted to return it but was advised that I couldn't return it due to their return policy. This has been the worst experience dealing with this company, and I would encourage everyone not to buy from here.
AVOID Perfect Corset NY! They are not a trust worthy business. They have no qualms about lying, stalling, and making up excuses to avoid any customer service or returns. They lied about the returns package being "lost and returned to sender" when it was forwarded to a 3rd party agent that delivered it. Zero honesty and will attempt to mislead you any chance they get.They also make you ship returns to other buyers. This is why they do not have an automated return process. and make you wait days for getting a return. Read the other comments online and do your own due diligence.
Poor quality, the fabric ripped o eve as soon as I laced it and split open when I sat down. I reached out to the company they offered to "send a replacement" and never followed through. I have pictures of the ripped item. DO NOT BUY from here.
