I was genuinely looking forward to trying PerfectTec's matcha after reading so many positive reviews about the taste. However, my experience has been deeply disappointing due to the poor customer service and unreasonable shipping costs.I ordered 30g of matcha for €13, only to be charged an additional €33 for shipping—simply because the delivery was to Germany. I quickly realized the mistake and contacted customer service immediately in hopes of modifying or canceling the order. Unfortunately, I was told the order had already been transferred to the delivery service and could not be stopped.While I understand logistics can sometimes move quickly, I expected more flexibility and support—especially when I reached out so promptly. The lack of assistance left me frustrated and feeling ignored. Paying more than double the product's value in shipping is simply unacceptable.No matter how good the product might taste, this experience has left a bad impression. I won’t be ordering from PerfectTec again, and I hope they reconsider both their international shipping policies and how they handle customer concerns in the future.
Customer service unheard of. Which is unfortunate, because matcha isn’t the worst on the market. When signing up for ‘subscription’, there’s probably writing in small letters that minimal subscription length- 3 months. In order to cancel, need to email. When emailed, even if agreeing to pay 3 months worth of product, because of ‘my mistake’, they don’t help.It’s essentially like talking to a wall, sadly. To anyone considering this, I genuinely recommend to get matcha JENKI satches, it ends up being same price for the quantity and JENKI is much higher quality too.
Experts at scamming customers Hidden subscriptions with purchases and refusal to refund and cancel after they said they would and with no products received either. I have all my receipts as this was done via email. Is this how you do buisness perfect ted? There’s nothing perfect about that. It’s called scamming and fraud. Refund the money you stole. I’ve reported to my bank and have all the evidence. So one way or another, I’ll get every penny back. Stop stealing from your customers not so perfect ted. Stop taking what’s not yours.
Locked in for 3 months without warning. I emailed in because there is no cancellation button, for them to reply admit there was no warning of the 3 month terms on their site. This is the experience any customer fears when shopping online, and a total turn-off from a brand.The product is ok, but the customer service has been rude and my whole experience makes me not want to shop with them again, in store or online.

Even after confirming my subscription was cancelled, I was still charged again a month later. I had to reach out multiple times again just to get a response, and when I finally did, there was no apology or offer of a refund.Unfortunately, despite the good product, the poor customer service means I wouldn’t recommend this company (buy it in Sainsbury’s it’s much cheaper and you get it on nectar)
