Bought a Welch Corgi in 2020 from Petland. She's had 3 operations since I've owned her, one for gallstones, two for fatty tumors, today I sadly had to have her put down. She had developed blindness along with cancerous tumors on her back and legs. It is believed that she has so many issues because she was purchased from a puppy mill!! Shame on Petland
Went to petland yesterday to look at puppies. We were excited to hold a chocolate mini hippo. She was so sweet, but after a few minutes of holding her I realized she had large aural hematoma in BOTH of her ears. I know this is very painful for the puppy. Petland either doesn't have the knowledge to keep and eye on the health and well being of their puppies, or they straight up dont care. DO NOT SHOP HERE! They are neglecting their dogs and passing them on to people who may not know they are unhealthy. STAY AWAY.
I purchased my dog here on July 17th 2024. It started coughing a few days later and was SICKLY. Eventually, my dog was diagnosed with PNEUMONIA and the vet bills came up to almost $1500!!!!! We've done absolutely everything that they have asked us to do in order to be reimbursed for the VET BILLS which they said they would pay us back for within 7 to 10 business days. After this period I have given a few extra days to receive the check and NOTHING. They claimed the check was sent and that it must have been " lost in the mail". They claimed they were "out of checks" and could not write another until they received more. Absolutely RIDICULOUS and so obviously a SCAM. DO NOT PURCHASE PUPPIES FROM THIS PLACE. It has a negative rep for a reason. Petland Kennesaw must be SHUT DOWN. Period. Awful business filled with blatant DECIET AND SCAMS.
Sick puppies, rude employees and racist manager (Alex Linear and Lauren)! Stay away from petland!! They even lie about their dogs information! They smile to the customers until they get their money, then you will see a totally different face!!
I saw my first PETLAND today. The dogs looked super nervous & not to mention the kennels have no cushion to keep them comfortable or warm. I was told they never go outside & don’t come out of their small boxes of display. This is SO SAD. Animal cruelty at its finest. The workers there are also super rude and clearly lack empathy. There’s also nothing but horrible reviews from customers and even from the HUMANE SOCIETY about this place - how unfairly treated the animals really are & how the animals are from puppy mills. Which also does make sense because there’s no labels to see which dog breeds are what.. just looks super unorganized & disgraceful.
Petland is a scam they sell sick dying puppies for profit. I got a dog a month ago and i just paid to watch a puppy dying from a resistant strains of one of the many viral and bacterial illnesses that plagues it! They refuse to lower the 4K price tag and refuse to exchange or even refund their client.
I was actually quite shocked at the conditions. I was very surprised to find children wandering around holding puppies without any supervision. I was surprised at the fact that dog after dog was being handled with no sanitation in between. Obviously there's not much attention being paid health issues that can be transferred from puppy to puppy. I was surprised to find Birds walking around on the floor almost being stepped on. I was surprised at no one supervising small animals that were being thumped on the head by children or dropped all together. I was shocked to find absolutely no protection system for these animals.
Wanted to buy a puppy but found all the puppies in a very poorly situation at the Plantation store and customer service is horrible. I decided to visit the other stores in Davie and Kendall where my experience was even worst. First off at the Kendall store they tried to sell me a puppy that I was not even interested in. It almost seem they were low in sales or something. All these 3 stores are managing by people that don’t care about animals but themselves and how many sales the can bring to the table, and I got it it’s a business but your puppies are in very bad conditions ,and your customer service is bad because your employees seem to be under a lot of pressure by sales! Get your managers straight and your company culture should change to animal care more so than straight sales. Never again will come back. And to all the people that is looking for a puppy do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, do your research.
My family and I had the best time at Petland that I think I’ve ever had!!🤗 Sid White was awesome and personality plus. Sid White was attentive, entertaining and knowledgeable. He is a huge asset to your store and deserves much kudos. If you need any help I recommend Sid White to give you people some advice. We will definitely be back soon!!
