Review Time
At this point, it has been a major letdown. I'm contemplating switching to another brand, as I still have a month to make a decision. If things don't improve soon, I will have to move on. It's unfortunate because I really like the hearing aid, and I obtained it from a top-tier medical facility with excellent audiologists. They are outstanding. As someone who runs a tech company, we prioritize quality, and I simply can't afford to deal with ineffective technology all day. Very disappointing.

As someone who works with computers, I understand technology, yet every time I reinstall the app, it works until I turn off my phone, after which the problems return, forcing me to restart the process. This app has high expectations but fails to deliver. As a musician, I chose these expensive aids for their promised seamless connectivity and customization options. Unfortunately, the connection process is tedious and frustrating. After multiple attempts to connect to both the app and my phone, I finally succeeded. However, the app keeps reverting to preset programs, making my custom settings unusable. I have uninstalled the app and feel let down; I could have opted for a simpler aid that offers the same basic functionality.
Phonak used to be known for dependable hearing aids, but that is no longer the case. I've had three hearing aids fail due to a lack of a proper on/off switch, requiring expensive replacements. Customer service has been unhelpful, simply suggesting repairs without acknowledging the design flaw. For a premium-priced brand, this level of support is unacceptable, and I will be advising others to avoid them.
I spent a significant amount on a pair of aids, but the right earpiece failed after just three weeks. I've contacted support but received no response, not even a confirmation. The equipment is shockingly poor, and the support system is unprofessional. I will be returning them for a refund.
These aids are extremely costly and may work well for some, but if issues arise, expect long waits for repairs. Your audiologist has to send them in, which adds to the delays. For the price, there should be a quick turnaround, not weeks of waiting to hear properly.
