Total scam

This is a total scam. The product is cheap and poorly made. The company does not honor its refund policy. I took it out of the packaging to send them the requested video and was told that since it was used, they wouldn’t process a return. Disgusting product and service. I would give zero stars if I could.

Don't waste your time

I received this promptly and well-packaged, but I suspected it was a cheap overseas product repackaged. I tried it twice on chin hair, and both times were extremely painful. The company refused my refund request, claiming the product appeared used. Clearly, this is not acceptable. I wish I had read other reviews first!

Same experience as others

I had the same experience as many others here. This product did not remove a single hair, and they denied my refund because I had used it. I filed a dispute with my bank and received a refund the very next day. I recommend doing the same!

It's complete junk do not buy it

It's complete junk do not buy it, doesn't remove one single hair. When I emailed the company to advise that it didn't work as advertised they said that I was not eligible for a refund as I had used the product and it looked to be in good working order. Cheap crap DO NOT BUY.

Rubbish product

Rubbish product, the advert is very deceiving, it doesn’t remove facial hair, instead it cut my chin, I complained to the company & they asked me to send a video, which I did, showing how I used it, then they refused to refund as I had used it, so it was not in new condition! How else was I meant to do a video as requested! Absolutely crap service!

Don't believe anything they tell you about their returns policy - they don't care!!!!!

I purchased a Plucky facial hair remover and when it arrived I followed the instructions to the word. I went online to see videos etc. I ended up with the worst burns on my chin and had scabbing for over a week. When I emailed them to get my money back as they advertise "At Plucky, we're dedicated to your satisfaction" 60 day refund, as they flash this guarantee everywhere. I was asked to send a video and photos for the return and then told that they would not accept the return as it was used. I responded to them to ask how this works - was I meant to look at the device for 60 days and decide I was not happy with it??? and was very polite - they have now stopped replying to my emails. I have sent a number since and they have not replied - Really terrible customer services in my eyes. It is a shame as this is a NZ company and I am always wanting to support local small businesses - but if they cannot be honest, I will have to write a poor review.
