Serious complaints about black mould have been overlooked for over two years. The mould first appeared in November 2023, initially spreading in the kitchen. Despite promptly reporting it, no action was taken. Our rent was later increased without addressing this issue, even after we agreed to the increase on the condition that the mould would be resolved. Fast forward to November 2025, and the situation has worsened significantly, with mould now in every room except one. The kitchen has severe mould on the ceiling. I have been emailing persistently with little response. Two specialists who visited in November were shocked by the condition, yet nothing has changed. I’ve indicated my willingness to involve authorities, but even this has not prompted action. Communication has been poor, with staff often out of the office and calls going unanswered. If you’re considering this agency for housing, think carefully. Their communication is lacking, and their response to tenant welfare is even worse. The only positive experience was with the letting agent who showed us the property.
The service for landlords is severely lacking. They fail to secure reliable tenants, have not collected rent on time for five months, and often do not respond to calls or emails. It’s frustrating to reach out without any replies. They insist on filing documents when it suits their financial needs but ignore property owners' requests. Avoid this company if you want to maintain your sanity.
I am currently having a terrible experience with this agency. I have rented my property since May 2021 and requested a tenant change on October 9th, which the landlord approved. They refuse to process this change, citing a lack of licensing, trapping me in the tenancy despite the landlord's agreement. The relevant licensing requirements have been in place since December 2021, and we have been renewing our lease without a license for four years. The rude manager denies responsibility, even after being informed that the landlord approved a necessary assessment for the license application. I have received no updates and remain stuck in my tenancy. I will escalate this issue through the council and property ombudsman.
