Review Time
Paid for live online course, canceled one week before the course was supposed to begin. Screwed up my study schedule in a major way after needing to switch to on-demand. Content of the course is almost identical to other sources like School of PE
The PPI course was overall pretty good. The course had a good schedule and the professor was really great at his job. Prof. Art Chianello taught us over 3 months and we managed to review most of the subjects pretty thoroughly. He was a great instructor that took extra time outside of class to answer our questions about the course material. I managed to pass in one go after the course! Definitely will repeat for PE when I'm ready.
I was disappointed at the structure and felt overwhelmed with the homework of just reading all the chapters and doing every problem. That approach seems to defeat the purpose of preparing effectively without overwhelming the student. The course in my opinion should be centered around the handbook and solving those type of problems which use the only reference you are allowed to use for the exam. The professor was excellent and it was great to have him for the entire course but I wanted to feel more prepared after taking the class and that just never happened. As a side note it is a very expensive course and should do a much better job to prepare the students but not overwhelm them.
