Review Time
PPI is a great resource for studying for the PE, I wish you were able to manipulate the timer on the Question Bank Quizzes though. It's set to a stock 15min/question, which if I want to get faster at solving the problems, I personally don't feel puts me under enough pressure. Everything else is great!
The review book looks great, and I really liked the question bank system. The study plan helped me a lot to organize my study and see my progress.Downsides, I’m used to read digital books as pdf (A4 size) and reading using the phone is a nightmare.I found my self taking double the mentioned time as well for each reading probably because I’m weak at math and I don’t remember anything about old courses that I have taken.
This is from an email I sent the company on 6/5. As of 2:30PM on 6/6, still no reply and no books. On Thursday, 6/1, I placed an order for 4 copies of NCIDQ Interior Design Reference Manual and requested expedited shipping- Next Day Air Saver-.Today, 6/5, I checked my account and see my credit card payment of $1,106.95 is still listed as pending, and my order has not shipped yet. Can you please tell me why the order has not been processed and shipped yet?
content is too outdated and not in touch with the updated exam contents. the value of the subscription is also low for several reasons. 1. the video "lecturers" have very little experience which is reflected in how they convey knowledge--there is nothing actually being "taught" in these videos--you're really just watching them answer (not particularly challenging) practice questions. 2. the case studies are absolute garbage. nothing like the actual exam or the practice exams published by ncarb. the practice questions are the only aspect of these subscriptions that are actually useful. however, many questions are repeated. i think you can just purchase the mock exam and practice questions separately in print form if you already have the exam review. i used ppi for PcM and PjM and will NOT be using for the remaining exams.
Just failed the FE chemical exam and my resource was PPI. Unfortunately, it lacks an important section which is Material/Energy Balance (You have to look for another source because they just simply replaced it with the separation section). Also, some other materials were totally different than the actual covered material in the FE (Solids handling, Safety and Ethics.).-The Q-bank generates many irrelevant and lengthy questions in comparison to the actual questions in the exam.-Their services are overpriced. To be fair the other materials were well covered in PPI and did good in them
A lot of great pre-recorded content, but the live professor is awful. She has never taught the FE course before and reads off of the prepared powerpoint slides instead of really explaining things. She even went as far to say that she wasn't going to explain a topic because the amount of time wouldn't be beneficial and that we should just skip that topic on the exam
The class start date was not accurate. There were hours of reading assignments and practice tests due before the listed course start date. So immediately I was behind by almost a week. I’m still attempting to get caught up. With a full time job this makes it very difficult to do. I would’ve attempted to get a refund for this course but I need this to prepare for the FE and I don’t see any other options to get my money back at this point. Aside from this issue, there are a wealth of tools to use that are awesome but I was pretty disappointed with the scheduling inaccuracies. I don’t know if I’ll enroll in a PPI course again.
I used the service for three months. The first month and half I spent it reviewing the breath portion of the exam. It was very useful and the instructor was knowledgeable. The depth material however was not as useful as the breath. At moments the instructor was confused, which I understand, but for it to feel like the instructor is reviewing the material at the same time as they are presenting feels weird. Due to that experience I didn't take full advantage for the second half of my subscription.
James Mirabile was a great instructor for the Electrical Engineering Power - PE course. Very knowledgeable on the topics, and overall had great tips for the exam. Passed the exam on the first try with mostly just prep from the course. Would definitely recommend.
I first encountered Kaplan approximately 15 years ago when I was preparing for the GRE test. This introduction to Kaplan eventually led me to discover PPI2Pass. Having graduated from my academic pursuits 13 years prior and facing numerous personal challenges during my FE exam preparation, I successfully passed the exam on my first attempt. I can confidently endorse PPI2Pass based on my experience. In particular, Art, who led and managed our course, left a profound impression on me. His character, unwavering dedication, and genuine enthusiasm for instructing individuals both during and after class were truly exceptional. If you find yourself in a situation similar to mine, I wholeheartedly recommend considering PPI2Pass and Art as your choice for exam preparation.
