Very helpful. Purchased a bmw from car giant. Had a faulty boot. Boot would not close faulty latch. New latch needed. Contacted aa warranty they offered me a few garages to bring my car to. They assessed and was approved under the warranty. Job done. Unfortunately had to contact them again due to a water leak. Needed a new auxiliary water pump. Approved . So far i have been fortunate. Thanks aa
I belated rang the company whilst my car was in the garage due to have a replacement part to see if it was covered by the warranty. The call handler was very efficient/informative and offered to call the garage direct to obtain information needed to assess the claim. He came back within minutes to advise that the claim had been accepted. Fantastic customer service.
Bought with my Car at London Car Giant who sold it to me as AA warranty. "Anything goes wrong, it'll be repaired" I was told, with mathematical scenario based calculation to show me how expensive a fault in today's modern cars would cost. So when the car broke down with a faulty egr valve, a common problem for my model, I have found that upon starting the claim that 1) Sold as AA warranty, a brand I once trusted, but actually fulfilled by Motorways Direct, a company I've never heard of. 2) Apparently in the terms and conditions of the policy, something which the Car Giant sales man did NOT point out, is that they are entitled to strip down your car, at your expense, to determine if they'd cover the repair. Which means if they can prove, at your cost, that the fault is caused due to wear and tear, then they are under NO obligation to pay out, leaving you high and dry with a dismantled car! Miss sold from Car Giant and also a shocking service from motorway direct. Save the cost of the insurance to invest in any future repairs your self. DO NOT BUY AA WARRANTY- A COMPLETE CON AND WASTE OF MONEY! Be aware and save yourself the grief I've been going through for the last 3 months! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Couldn’t recommend enough I’ve had 2 problems with my car since I bought it and they have paid out direct to my garage no hesitations. Always look at what is and isn’t included I have gold cover and will always purchase warranty with a vehicle in the future. Thanks AA Warranty!!!
