Review Time
Like many in here, I invested in the 3 month Santander Bond at the boosted rate of 4.9%. It took until 17:00 for my money to be sent to my bank account but I was short of the full interest. I am very annoyed that I have had to read on here others experience that the ‘boost’ part of the interest will not be paid until a later date. I have no idea when but I totally disagree with how Prosper manage their bonds and think it is a devious and dishonest way to attract investors. I expect my bond to mature on the correct date with ALL my interest paid upon maturity . I also have never known a bank repay the bond so late in the day! Not impressed. Unfortunately I still have two other bonds with Prosper but will not invest with them again for sure

Saving with them is very good, only things are when you try to call them you will be out through to reception all the time and they will always say there’s no one available and someone will call you back. Rohan is a very helpful person and explained everything in detail. You won’t see the account mature until the date of maturity so if you put your money in be mindful of that if you care about those things. Nonetheless the account still matured and I am very happy to have saved with them.
The process of opening a holding account was easy and quick - the app is excellent and updated regularly with the best interest rates for a variety of banks etc. I particularly like the fact that they do short term savings as well as this fits with my current lifestyle! It’s a five star thumbs up from me!
