Quora questions may be a site to answer questions as well as to get answers, but for all intents and purposes it is still a social site where insensitive people troll. And if you ask a question about something that you strongly believe in and they use it as a way of tearing down your defenses. That can't be good for someone's mental health. Quora like Reddit uses algorithms and doesn't monitor it. Not that the moderators would do anything about it anyway. I'm commenting because this happened to me. So I blocked quora or thought that I did. I noticed that one individual commented on something that I feel particularly strongly about belittling it calling it silly and impossible. I have been thwarted so many times that I have developed anhedonia (low dopamine levels). I won't go into details about what this eventually leads to. No one takes responsibility for their actions, not quora, not reddit not even Meta.
Extremely disappointed with HypeFly India. I placed order #HFLY-756ff0ef for Nike Vaporfly 3 on 5th Feb, paying a total of ₹16,598. This included a ₹1,499 premium for next-day shipping.
Despite the extra charge, they only shipped the item on 10th Feb. Due to this unacceptable delay, I denied the delivery on 13th Feb. HypeFly is now refusing to issue a refund or even provide a formal complaint reference number. They have charged for a service they did not provide and are now withholding my money. I have reported this to the National Consumer Helpline and advise others to be very careful before paying upfront here.
Although there's so much hate speech, harassment and scammers all over Social media; now Quora is becoming no exception! I now was accused of it after some person harassed me over a comment about animal killing which is not murder! But they deleted my comment when I told her how stupidly she was to compare animal slaughterhouses to the horrific nazi holocaust death camps!! Need I explain more!?
And also this site still keeps advertising these scamming chat sites which tried extorting so much money for nothing, getting nowhere..

I reported to the relevant authorities about concerning incidents on the platform involving users engaging in inappropriate behavior towards minors. Despite multiple reports made directly on the platform, no actions have been taken against those exploiting vulnerable individuals, which clearly violates the moderation guidelines they claim to uphold.
I have nothing positive to say about this platform. New accounts are often blocked, especially if you enter a website link or mention your workplace. It’s confusing why these options exist if filling them out leads to automatic account suspension.
Expressing thoughts and feelings on this platform is nearly impossible, as posts can be removed for vague policy violations. I've had to appeal several times, insisting that I'm sharing valid concerns and evidence from credible news sources. Be cautious about what you say here.
