I've moved enough big chunks of money to and from this site to become confident that it is legitimate. My local bank doesn't bat an eye moving money there and any incidental talk with my local bankers on Raisin seems to reinforce that it is a legitimate site they are very well aware of.
The site is straightforward enough. The security measures have not been overbearing. Raisin is good as a one stop shop to get 99% of the interest out there without having to open accounts at endless banks shopping for the best rate and it is an easy way to consolidate tax forms on your interest earned.
If you open accounts at credit unions, you will get monthly paper notices through the mail which is annoying and which you can't seem to opt out of, even if you have only $0 to $5 in that account. Small drawback.
I followed the instructions to change my bank, but I was informed that the previous representative did not have the correct details. I was promised an email by the end of the day to clarify what else was required, but it never arrived. With Monday being a holiday, I'm now unable to access my funds.
I opened several accounts through this service, with my latest being a significant CD initiated in May 2025. This account was established during a promotion promising a 0.5% bonus if the funds remained for three months. Although the money has stayed for seven months, the bonus I received was only a fraction of what I expected. Customer support explained they calculated the bonus based on a reduced amount due to withdrawals from another account. This misrepresentation of the bonus is unacceptable, and I will not use this service again.
I'm beyond frustrated. The issues with the service persist. Their app and website fail to recognize my sort code, preventing me from updating my nominated bank account. My chat inquiries have gone unanswered for days. When I called, one representative disconnected me, and another provided an overly complicated process just to change basic account details. The problem remains unresolved. This experience has been dreadful from start to finish, and I cannot trust this service with my savings again.
While the service offers a fantastic range of accounts and competitive interest rates, there is a significant issue—changing your nominated bank account is currently impossible. I attempted to switch banks and was supposed to receive a verification email, but it never arrived. After contacting customer support, they created a ticket and promised to investigate. A week later, I had no updates. I changed my email on the account, which allowed me to receive verification emails, but the subsequent request to change my bank account still failed. My web designer discovered that the sending address has a high spam score, making communication with this service problematic. I now have funds stuck in an account that I cannot access and may need to escalate this issue if it isn’t resolved soon.
I've been saving with this service for three years and have enjoyed the various savings rates. However, after referring a friend, they initially refused to honor the promised £50 bonus, only to later admit they were obligated to pay. A month later, I was offered a £150 bonus for depositing £10,000 of new money, but now they are claiming I used existing funds. I've lost trust in this service; if they handle offers this way, I worry about their support during actual issues affecting my savings.
