What an excellent company

What an excellent company, top service from Ian and the team, nothing was too much trouble evem when I returned an DAB+ radio that I had failed to set up correctly, they checked the unit out set it up for me and returned the unit within a couple of days. Would definitely use again.M Daltry Derbyshire

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEOOR CUSTOMER SERVICEIan was very rude and claimed we were aggressive on the call. We were slightly out of the returns by a few days, and he abruptly refused this, even though I stated the product hasn't been opened and was not fit for purpose. Despite asking for a reduced refund rate, it was still a firm no because it was no benefit to their business to have it returned. Stay away from this company, god forbid something is ordered in error!

Promises kept.

I initially contacted Red Apple AV, having done some research, because they were local, AND they had what I wanted. Ian (the big cheese, head-honcho, man-in-charge, MD) was helpful from start to finish, from my initial enquiry, to letting me know when stock was due in, to when the stock actually arrived from France, and to arranging the delivery with DPD. NOTHING was too much for him, despite my badgering, brief trip to Scotland, and my fussy nature.The website is easy to navigate, stock levels are kept up to date, and the prices are great too.Alongside Ian and Red Apple AV, I would like to thank the distributor, Lee Godbold (in Southampton), for getting my Norstone products into the country without hitch or hassle. 2 days after Customs clearance, and they are arriving on my doorstep....that's GREAT service. (insert "clapping" emoji)I went with the Norstone Esse AV and Hi-Fi stands, along with the Norstone Stylum 28 speaker stands, and "sleek" doesn't even come close to how I would describe them and how good they look. I'll send some pictures over to Ian and he can add them to this review and / or to the site. Perfect. Shiny. Happy.

I recently purchased a Snipe satellite system from this company. The whole experience was very simple and straightforward and the goods were received when promised and excellently packaged. Special thanks to Ian who was very helpful and communication was excellent. I would 100% recommend this company.

Awful customer service and rubbish stuff

I ordered a satellite receiver from this business and it arrived quite early and everything was good. Once I connected it to the Internet, the receiver asked for updates and I did the update and then the operating system didn't start anymore. Once I contacted them, I was told that you shouldn't never update the device, but I don't know why and as far as I know updates are for fixing the bugs and security patches. I started a return on eBay and someone called me afterwards and trying to give me the instructions to fix the receiver and I agreed to do so to be nice and cooperative. I had to search for a very old fashioned usb memory card, max 4gb, and after finding it with real hassle, I managed to flash the receiver with that guys help in 2/3 days as the flash files and manufacturers support were really really awful. I sent the guy a few messages over the weekend and he could just avoid replying or nicely saying we are not working over the weekend. Long story short, receiver was fixed and back to normal after flashing, happy days! A few days later, I wanted to buy another item from their eBay shop, and then I realised they've blocked me. I really found this disappointing 😞 ; of course I leave bad reviews for whomever they deserve it to help customers and buyers to choose the right place to buy. This is every buyer's basic right. It's also good that you confessed that your items will crash after an update 😄 you'd better to find more decent goods rather than importing unknown chinese stuff where there's no support for them aparat from your "friend " in Thailand.

I have ordered a couple of things from Red Apple and have found that on each occasion, everything went smoothly. The customer service is first class. Prices are extremely competitive and the range is excellent. Happy to recommend. I am also very pleased that Red Apple used DPD rather than the dreadful Yodel.

Top class service, excellent prices and quick delivery

Delivered the very next day. I didn’t like the colour (speaker stands) and got them swapped the next day!!! Also cheaper than anywhere else and free delivery!!Owner is an incredibly nice man.Would definitely buy from again and heartily recommending Red Apple!!

I was looking for a budget hifi rack and came across Red Apple AV.

I was looking for a budget hifi rack that didn’t look, well, too budget. Found the Norstone Esse in black with walnut finish shelves at Red Apple AV. £40 cheaper than elsewhere, speedy delivery and am absolutely delighted - everything in the box there should be, rack went together easily in just over an hour and looks much nicer than might reasonably be expected for the money, in particular the walnut finish shelves. Only downside is that the rack is not threaded to take spikes etc, but it’s a substantial item and sits solidly and reasonably level on my carpeted floor. A happy customer.
