I had purchased 6 x 7 day theme park tickets, once I got to Sea World I was advised the Red Balloon process is cumbersome and I had to email all my vouchers to Sea World then waited approximately 40 minutes for them all to be processed and gain entry. Warning the process is outdated, no QR codes nothing quick and simple wasted time for an outdated process. Would not purchase again through Red Balloon. I also reached out to Red Balloon without receiving a response just said thats the process
Well I am now warning buyers just buy direct with the theme parks for a smoother entry!
The boat drivers was so funny, made it great. I wouldnt bring young kids on this. We had a girl about 10, and she cried and screamed so much we had to turn around. The driver handled it well
I was given a $100 gift voucher for my 70th birthday. I had a bit of a look around for what to use it for. Signed up with Red Balloon to get emails and offers. Saw some activities I might be interested in that were on special. When I tried to book I find out I can’t use my voucher with any activity that is discounted. I can’t understand how a gift card for $100 that costs $100 can’t be used for that amount if the item is on a discount. I think the card was purchased from Office Works, I just looked on their website and there is no mention of this condition. My advice is if you want to give someone an experience give them cash not a RedBalloon voucher.
I received a dinner on a yacht as a farewell gift, but due to my fear of drowning, I can't participate. I called to inquire about alternative options, but the choices were limited. There were no dining options or spa experiences available in my area. When I asked about gift certificates, I was informed that they were only valid for specific experiences, not for general stores. The only alternative offered was a pasta-making class, which is not suitable for me. It's frustrating that there aren't more varied experiences or gift cards available. Not everyone is interested in extreme activities. I also faced issues trying to exchange online, which forced me to call for assistance. Overall, I'm quite dissatisfied.
