Review Time
ASIC sends notifications to all business name holders. This company has taken it in their own right to scrape the entire business name database and send official looking letters. I got conned by these letters. Now I realise it’s junk mail, but comes across as official. Ignore these letters folks, you can renew with ASIC 30 days prior to expiry for half the price.
Scammers. This is not the ASIC or any government department. They scrape your ABN and address from the ASIC web site and send you letters.edit: 3rd invoice received in the mail. They obviously make a killing on this as they can afford to send millions of emails in the physical mail system. It is truly incredible the government even allows this.
First of all, they sent you an unsolicited mail to mailbox, which looked very identical to that of ASIC letter for your business name renewal, and here’s the unethical part: they exorbitantly marked up the renewal price. My advice to you all, go and renew your business name on the ASIC website, pay at the official price and don’t engage this company. All it takes is a few minutes of your time and keep more money in your pocket. My message to reg.com.au go do something more honest, instead of crying over actual reviews caused by your own wrongdoings.
This is a new company sending unsolicited mail advertising business name registration for three times the price. Not sure how this is still allowed. They should be forced to move the message indicating this isn't official information to the top. Also not sure where they are scraping everyones business data from. This should also be forbidden.
