They really need to enhance their technical procedures. My family and I are immigrants, and we lack knowledge about what to check in a home. They suggested an apartment with a boiler that hadn't been maintained for over five years, along with several leakage issues. We are now terminating the contract due to ongoing leakage and mold problems that the housing agency and landlord failed to address for months. We've been living with mold for quite some time. We invested a significant amount expecting premium service from the company, especially regarding these crucial technical aspects that are important in the Netherlands, which we are completely unfamiliar with as expats. Unfortunately, they seem indifferent to these concerns. Given the amount we paid, I expected a much better level of service.
Working with the team was a pleasure. They provided me with all the necessary information that I couldn't figure out on my own in a short time, and they guided me through the entire renting process, helping me make the right decisions at each step. With their assistance, the whole process felt much easier than it typically is.
It took a bit longer due to my specific requirements, but the team did an outstanding job finding me a place while I was abroad. They went above and beyond. Everything went smoothly, and I felt well taken care of. I was able to get an appointment with them the next day to discuss everything, while other companies in the same industry did not respond. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. After about a month of searching, we viewed around six properties, made offers on three, and eventually found a nice apartment at a reasonable price, moving in right after our flight. My account manager was very helpful; she responded quickly to our messages and provided valuable insights. The first virtual viewing wasn't as good as expected, but after clarifying our preferences, the subsequent viewings significantly improved. Areas for improvement: - Many properties shown did not match our filters, likely because the crawling service isn't fully capable yet, resulting in most postings being unsuitable. This can be fixed, which is why I left a four-star review. - The system displayed places too far from my workplace despite my filter settings. Users should be able to set strict limits on commute times. - A filter for corporate housing would be beneficial since many customers are relocating from abroad and cannot apply for those properties.
First, I want to thank the team for their support throughout our relocation process. They found suitable homes for our family of four within a month, and we reviewed all of them. Managing this before arriving in the Netherlands is challenging, so I highly recommend their services. If you want to waste your money, this is the way to go. The service is far too expensive for what you get; you pay several hundred Euros just for viewings, with no guarantees of securing a place. The staff seem incentivized to steer you towards subpar properties at inflated prices from a limited selection. The worst part? It doesn’t even save you time, which is the least you could expect given the high costs. You're better off browsing the same sites that the company pulls from.
