Waste of time

Two gift cards purchased from two different supermarkets had been tampered with before purchase and had been drained of the loaded funds. Both supermarkets said it was a huge problem and that they get gift cards through a third party. It’s obvious to us that someone employed by the third party are likely tampering with the cards before they are put on sale. Our case was closed and no further investigation is taking place. Complete waste of time reporting the fraud in the first place!

Complete waste of time. Twice ive reported ID fraud and they just choose to close the cases without investigation.. impossible to talk to a human about it... Dreadfull service

Terrible waste of tax payer's money!!!

£30,000 of crypto stolen from my self-hosted wallet, from what looks like a browser extension hack. I've already done the hard work for them and forensically traced how my funds were converted and funnelled through to a popular crypto exchange. The exchange has even sent me details and a form to fill in once an investigation had begun, they are more than happy to help me to get my funds back, but I can't proceed without official assistance. I have used their new system that allows you to individually detail each crypto asset and how much was stolen, so you would think that they are now closer to understanding fraud of this nature a little better.... clearly not! What a terrible waste of tax payer's money!!!!

Same branding zero interest or care in the most blantant fraud case of misrepresentation of an apprentice working out a motorucle dealership with more evidence and they did not want to know, same generic Ai response which is not what Ai should be used for. Not even any signposting, this service is next to useless and just the rebranding of action fraud the useless company that went before it, not what tax payers money is for or does it do what it was designed to do which is protect people from fraud.

Use it only to get a reference number, don’t expect anything

Same as Action Fraud but much faster in dismissing reports. My report was dismissed in less than 2 hours, at least Action Fraud took few days, which gave the impression that someone actually had a look at it. In UK unfortunately scammers have it very easy.

New Name nothing has changed - Rubbish

WOW this is the tripe as before.A renamed service of the UK Government where you have to Spell "Fraud" to get to the next level of the call chat.When you get this far - Waste of time.Fraudsters are very welcome in the UK the Gov. have no idea or interest to resolve.YOU ARE BETTER OFF ON BENIFTITS or working in an overpaid unproductive job working for the Gov.
