Obviously nowhere near as cost effective as a local SIM, but this was an unexpected, short notice visit to India and we knew we didn't have time to sort SIM at airport.
For ease of use, time saving and pricing (in comparison to other E-SIM) I was really impressed.

Incredible performance, very easy installation, able to connect to different local carriers, all with a terrific price! It’s the most affordable unlimited eSIM you can find, half the price of Holafly but with twice the speeds! The fixed GB rates are also really competitive.
The relation quality/price was great, however, in some zones in London we had no coverage. For example, in Camden Town; and in other central areas of London, coverage was sometimes lost.
I also noticed an inexplicably high data usage. I bought a card with 5GB of data that was supposed to last 30 days, however, it was used up in just 3 days. Then I tried to extend the use of the eSIM but it was not posible with the mobile app. I had to buy another one and the process of activation was really hard (some links in the email didn't work).
I purchased an internet data package for Israel, but unfortunately, I couldn't use it. Everything connected and showed a network, but the internet didn't work, websites wouldn't open, and the managers weren't available. Customer support was of no help, their responses sounded like AI and weren't relevant.
Egypt esim 10gb works from the first day. Quite good - I can't compare to native egyptian sims but on some xaomi phone there was sometimes no internet (but there was signal), but on iphone works well. We tried in summary 6 Roamic esims at Egypt.
This was so simple to set up and worked like a dream. I shall definitely use Roamic for future trips abroad and will tell family and friends to do so as well. V impressed
Opting for the unlimited package led to a letdown. I purchased an esim for unlimited service in Spain to stream the Australian Open, but I couldn't even catch a full match daily. After using just a few GB, my speed dropped from 4G to 1000mbits, making browsing tedious and slow. I immediately requested a refund since streaming was unfeasible. The support team asked for screenshots of my settings, suggesting there might be an issue on my end. Later, they cited a fair use policy that reduced the speed. Despite my detailed refund requests through their AI support on WhatsApp, they continued asking for irrelevant screenshots without addressing my concerns. After 10 days, my esim was deactivated, prompting me to leave a negative review on a public platform. They responded, stating they would handle my refund if I emailed them. I did so, referencing their response, only to be told the refund was not possible since my esim was inactive. This service feels deceptive, and I suspect their positive reviews are generated by AI rather than reflecting genuine user experiences. Focus on the negative reviews for a clearer understanding.
Upon arrival, we smoothly switched to the local network without any hassle. The value for money is outstanding. If you're not heavily into social media or gaming, I believe that 1GB of data is more than sufficient for three days of holiday use, including constant Google Maps access. Truly excellent – I will definitely choose this service again. I encountered no issues whatsoever, even while using AI assistance to navigate the markets and avoid overcharging. I am very impressed.
You pay for "unlimited data," but once you hit 3-4GB, your browsing speed is throttled to the point of being completely ineffective. It's misleading to label this as "unlimited data" when you're left with virtually no data after just a few gigabytes. The information about data throttling is buried at the bottom of the page, hidden among a lot of text that few people notice while placing an order. There’s no indication of this during the ordering process.
