As a user of Rocket.new, I’ve genuinely had a great experience building my app with their platform.
As someone without a technical background, I was initially intimidated by the idea of building an app. I don’t come from a development or design background, and I’m learning as I go. Rocket.new made the process far more accessible than I expected. The interface is intuitive, the structure is clear, and it allows you to move from idea to functional product much faster than traditional tools.
What truly stands out, though, is their support team. They are responsive, patient, and consistently helpful. Every time I’ve had a question, even beginner-level ones, they’ve taken the time to explain things clearly and guide me step by step. You can tell they genuinely care about helping users succeed, not just about closing tickets.
Building a product always comes with challenges, but having a team that supports you along the way makes a huge difference. Rocket.new doesn’t just provide a tool; they provide real partnership and guidance.
I would absolutely recommend Rocket.new to anyone looking to build an app, especially if you’re not a developer and need strong support along the journey.
I feel compelled to share my experience after a truly shocking encounter. The platform presents itself as a robust, reliable AI builder capable of managing complex projects. Based on these assertions, I subscribed with the goal of using it for serious development tasks. However, just one hour into actual use, it became apparent that the service does not function as promised. I intentionally began with a very straightforward project: A basic informational website Single admin login Text-only editing No SaaS features No public users Designed specifically to operate within the platform’s free plan Despite this simplicity, the system failed consistently. Here’s what transpired: Navigation menus were unreliable Sections (About, Founder, Services, Contact) did not scroll or respond Admin panel was incomplete and inconsistent Uploaded images never appeared on the live site Each attempted “fix” caused further issues Tokens were consumed without any usable outcome Support responses turned dismissive rather than helpful After more than an hour of forced iterations, rebuilds, and token usage, the website remained broken and unfinished. The most significant concern: The platform claims it can handle very complex builds seamlessly. If it cannot reliably produce a simple informational website, then those claims are clearly misleading. This isn’t a learning curve issue.
This is a fundamental capability problem. Support issues: After submitting a formal complaint for a refund: No automatic reply No support ticket No acknowledgment No response after more than 24 hours For a paid service, this level of silence is entirely unacceptable. In summary: Based on my experience, the platform operates as a token-consuming system that consistently fails to provide finished, functional results, while still marketing itself as “best in class.” I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to be cautious:
Do not trust the marketing claims. Test thoroughly before investing money — or be prepared for frustration, wasted time, and a lack of accountability.
I am leaving this review after a genuinely shocking experience.Rocket markets itself as a powerful, reliable AI builder capable of handling complex projects. Based on those claims, I subscribed with the intention of using it for serious development work.Within one hour of real usage, it became clear that the platform does not perform as advertised.I deliberately started with a very simple project:A basic informational websiteSingle admin loginText-only editingNo SaaS featuresNo public usersDesigned specifically to work on Rocket’s free planDespite this simplicity, the system failed repeatedly. What actually happened:Navigation menus did not work reliablySections (About, Founder, Services, Contact) failed to scroll or respondAdmin panel was incomplete and inconsistentImages uploaded via admin never appeared on the live siteEach attempted “fix” broke something elseTokens were continuously consumed with no usable final resultSupport responses became dismissive instead of correctiveAfter over an hour of forced iterations, rebuilds, and token consumption, the website was still broken and unfinished. The most serious issue:Rocket claims it can process very complex builds in one go.If the platform cannot reliably deliver a simple informational website, then those claims are objectively false. This is not a learning curve issue. This is a capability gap.Support failure:After sending a formal complaint requesting a refund:No automatic replyNo support ticketNo acknowledgmentNo response after 24+ hoursFor a paid service, this level of silence is unacceptable. Conclusion:Based on real usage, Rocket behaves like a token-consuming system that repeatedly fails to deliver finished, working results, while continuing to market itself as “best in class.”I would strongly caution anyone considering this platform:Do not trust the marketing claims. Test carefully before spending money — or expect frustration, wasted time, and no accountability.
Rocket is genuinely impressive. I used it to build a complex, multi-feature application with real data models, authentication flows, and business logic—and it delivered far beyond what I expected from a prompt-driven platform. The speed is obvious, but what stood out was how structured the output was: clean architecture, sensible defaults, and a strong grasp of real-world product requirements. This isn’t a toy or a demo generator—it’s a serious acceleration tool for turning ideas into working software fast. Rocket.new materially compressed weeks of work into hours and cut our development budget by 80%.
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the support I have received from the team. My app was more complicated than the norm, and they helped me every step of the way to get it sorted and launched. Very impressed with their commitment to see their users work through to completion. I highly recommend Rocket for this reason.
The program is powerful, but i quite literally used 10million tokens to fix a simple pdf reading problem in my app, only from going from partial reads to none, and still no fix... and considering im progressing backwards i have no confidence that spending another 10 million tokens will fix that.might redo my review at a later time, but at this time the frustration with the AI saying it fixed it without actually fixing, implementing code, and not actually implementing it, and having to spend tokens on errors the ai makes can make the creation process much more expensive than you first think it will be.
Was marketed to upper level and different, the 1 million tokens is a complete sham. It basically just built the web app and after that I could send 3 chats before the notification about zero tokens started appearing. Just imagine purchasing 25 million tokens for 50 dollars that means at best you will get 15 maybe 17 chats out of 50 dollars.
After a million attempts and errors. My app was almost ready to go then another prompt destroyed the entire app and filled it with errors. I complained and tokens were refunded a few times.Still didn’t fix anything so customer service asked me for my account info to check it.Rolled it back to an old old version with stuff I didn’t want to retrieve. Now I can’t log into my account and recovery email isn’t being sent.Customer service responded with “ here, use my account “ I said no.. can you help me recover my account.2 weeks later still can’t log into my account and the refunded tokens disappeared. Not worth your time or money.
