Product seems excellent so far. When I ordered my duty belt I was on the border or sizes so I went with the size up. I received it and leaned that if I lose a few pounds the belt will now be too big, so I contacted customer service and received a new belt with the correct size fairly quick. Looking forward to my next purchase with them, being the FRAS.

Not very comfortable, and didnt fit right. Im a ahletic build 5’11 200lbs and got the large, it was too long and when i sat down the shoulders were above my ears. had to cut the shoulder straps with scissors.Looks kinda goofy now. Also the flaps on the shoulders are pretty silly and the way it straps front ward instead of towards the back is also pretty goofy. I know its considerably cheaper then other brands but i wouldnt buy again. Pay the money for a better design and quality.
Ordered a vest, item never received. Emails go unanswered, their phone number goes directly to voicemail and calls are not returned. I know of others who never received their items, the few who did receive a shipment received an empty box. We are filing with the Ohio AG office asking for investigation.Thank youBart RagucciOhio
The backpack insert I purchased arrived unexpectedly quickly-in time for my son to have in his backpack to start college. He has, fortunately, not had occasion to test it but we have some peace of mind knowing he has a measure of protection. I appreciate the specifics that Safe Life Defense provided about the level of protection that the insert does and does not provide. I would buy from this company again.
