As a property owner and having this insurance forced on me by a property manager it's a completely useless and expensive insurance. You will get maybe 2% back of what you spend on it. And if you do file a claim for something like a sofa they won't replace it but only "repair it" and they won't pay for damage outside the home. I didn't have many issues without this insurance. I'd rather just pay out of pocket for a dirty towel than spend thousands on this crappy insurance each year. This is true garbage insurance for an owner. Property managers get kick backs and get to be lazy in filing with Airbnb for damages so it's good for them. Property managers and safely profit on the backs of the owners by gas lighting that the "guest pay for it" WRONG the owner pays by getting lower nightly rates and thousand less in their pockets at the end of every year.

Impressed

We submitted our first claim for a table top and handyman services to fix. Both were paid completely in full and did not involve our guests at all. So far, I am extremely satisfied. The only thing I wish they would allow is to have access to their services without a PMS, other than that everything is perfect.Also, Denise was very helpful to me and even called and emailed me several times when I dropped the ball on responding. Very impressive and appreciated.

This company failed to fulfill their duty

This company failed to fulfill their promise and lost my trust. We had a major repair thanks to the guests clogging our sewage system and Safely is "skillfully" avoiding to make a decision for the last 3 months not answering my emails or calls. Do they help my small business? No. I calculated by the amount of money they take from me monthly that I do not get even 1/25 part of it in return and especially with the "not covering this and that"... Such a waste of time and money. We just decided to fire them.

Safely is an absolutely necessity for anybodt that operates a STR Business

Safely is an absolutely necessity for anybody that owns a vacation rental home. As a short term vacation home owner since 2014, with a portfolio of 8 properties, Safely's damage insurance is far more valuable to vacation home owners than anything that is out there. Even though we are covered through Airbnb and Vrbo damage policies, they are difficult to deal with when filing a damage claim. Safely on the other hand, is very owner friendly. Highly recommended!
