I took my car for an MOT and was told a health check would also be performed. However, less than 24 hours after collecting my car, it indicated it needed 1 liter of oil. I called the office, and while the reception staff were polite and professional, the representative I needed to speak with regarding the situation never returned my call. I can't recall her name. When I visited the location, I was informed that, although the health check includes oil inspection, they don't actually check the dipstick; they only use a machine. I was shocked by this explanation and have lost trust in their service. It's disappointing to receive such treatment from a well-known brand. Now that my car is due for a service, I'm anxious about whether they will perform adequately. Additionally, on the day of the MOT, I requested battery replacements for my car keys, which were not completed when I picked up my car. Thankfully, I checked before leaving, or it would have been another wasted trip.

Couldnt believe what l was being told but honestly lost trust in them. One doesnt expect such a service from such a big brand. Right now my car is due for service but dreading if they will do a good job? On top of this, the day l took my car for MOT l requested to change batteries in my car keys. When l collected the car again this was not done. Good job l checked before l left the premises? It would have been another wasted journey
Awful experience this morning. Went in for my break pads doing and booked a courtesy car as i had plenty to do at work. The roads were so busy, took me ages to arrive, i had my driving license taken, car key taken, signed the forms on the ipad etc .... Only then to be told they didn't have any courtesy cars available!!!! A complete waste of a morning and unprofessional. They had plenty of opportunities to let me know about the availability of a courtesy car. Avoid at all costs!
Fantastic purchase and service from Sandal BMW Huddersfield and sales Executive Mia Kelly. I live in the south but wanted to purchase a BMW in stock in Huddersfield. Mia provided all the information , pictures and video. She collected me from the local railway station and when I arrived the car was in pristine condition. Very disappointed with the service provided. Sandal took absolutely no responsibility for damage caused to my vehicle and treated me as if I was being dishonest. I will never use sandal bmw again. I will advise all my friends and family to avoid this dealership.
We have been with BMW (Huddersfield) for 5 years. They have always been kind, fair, friendly and super helpful, even with advice now that the time has come to sell our old-ish car. Sometimes a little pricey compared to other garages but they more than make up for this with trustworthiness.Thank you.
We travelled all the way from London to buy a 2024 plate BMW i5 from Sandal Huddersfield BMW, dealing with a sales rep named Sam Gill. At first, Sam seemed convincing and professional — clearly eager to make the sale. He even sent us a video of the car, which conveniently showed no damages or faults. Based on this and his reassurances, we went ahead with the purchase.However, on the day of collection, things started to unravel. In person, we noticed a small stone chip on the bonnet — not very visible under showroom lighting — but Sam dismissed it, saying it would "rub out easily." We trusted him. Unfortunately, that was a mistake.On our long journey back to London, more issues became apparent. There were multiple stone chips on the windows and windscreen, and we later discovered a dent in the bonnet where the original chip was. None of this was disclosed beforehand, nor was it visible in the video Sam sent or in the showroom where the car was due to the lightings etc. Given that we live 5–6 hours away, returning the car to Huddersfield wasn’t practical.We called and emailed repeatedly, only to be met with rude and dismissive responses from Sam and his managers. Not only did they refuse to take any responsibility for these undisclosed issues, but they were also completely unwilling to offer any help or solutions. Their customer service post-sale has been shockingly poor.To make matters worse — and this is a critical warning — the car was sold to us with non-run-flat tyres, despite the fact that BMW i5s (especially 2024 models) require run-flats. These standard tyres are completely inappropriate for the vehicle and have already proven unreliable, making us question the safety of their practices. It feels like they cut corners to save money, at the customer’s expense.We are extremely disappointed with Sandal BMW Huddersfield. If you're considering buying a vehicle from them — especially from a distance — be warned. The experience has been frustrating, stressful, and expensive.Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Absolutely AVOID at all costs.
