Review Time
This is probably my fourth review and that is saying something. Even with the centralized banking system that is supposedly in place to keep banks from failing a lot of shadow banking goes on. The policies favor the banks not their customers. It's profit over the best interest of the customer. The customer service agent in the disputes department was less than moved by my situation with Ebay over a refund after canceling a purchase. A refund that I never received. Funny how at first the PURCH REFUND was recorded than seemingly it was rescinded on the line below on a mini bank statement CRD PURCHASE in the amount of $26.99 the amount of the item. So what did happen to the money? Because I don't have it. No matter what anyone thinks no institution is TBTF Too Big To Fail. I can't help but wonder where Santander is located whenever I talk with someone from their customer service department many of them barely speak English. Some are so ice cold it's a wonder that they're still breathing. The fact that this keeps happening with both Ebay and Santander and that neither is willing to investigate what happened to my refund says that neither can be trusted. So once again I've been ripped off. They both suck.
I faced significant difficulties when attempting to pay off my vehicle in full. The company imposed a maximum payment limit of $12,999 and informed me that I would need to wait 30 days for another payment. This seems like a tactic to continue accruing interest. I've never encountered such practices with any lending institution before. There are several other concerns I have with the company, but I won't elaborate on them here. I strongly advise avoiding them.
I recently faced a serious issue with banking fraud. Someone managed to obtain my wife's login name and called her to get her to repeat a code sent to her phone, leading to our account being drained. It's concerning how they accessed her login since she only uses her fingerprint on her phone and forgot the login details. Afterward, the company decided to switch to mailing all my online transactions instead of electronic transfers, which disrupted my automatic payments. Whenever I contacted their support, I was transferred to representatives who couldn't assist me. People even asked me which bank I was dealing with. This bank was previously decent and convenient, but now the branches are closed, and no one seems to have any answers or solutions. To make matters worse, after I called to address my concerns about the service, they locked my account, preventing me from using my payment services or bank card. This business has truly been disappointing.
I'm truly surprised this institution is still in business. The customer service experience is consistently disappointing. Calls are directed to overseas support centers where representatives seem inadequately trained, struggle with basic communication, and show little knowledge of the products or issues they are meant to assist with. Instead of resolving problems, these interactions often heighten frustration and complicate matters further. Regrettably, the problems extend beyond the call centers. In-branch experiences are equally unsatisfactory. Staff frequently appear disengaged, unhappy, and unmotivated, and this attitude often affects customers negatively. There is a clear absence of professionalism, accountability, and fundamental customer care. Banking necessitates trust, competence, and reliability. This institution offers none of these qualities. Based on multiple firsthand experiences, I would strongly recommend avoiding this institution. Opting for their services will likely result in unnecessary stress, wasted time, and regret.
In terror!!I have had an account with this 'thing' for years in Cambridge. I have manic depressive psychosis. I am in Tangier and they are preventing me from legally withdrawing money from my account in Cambridge and transfering it onto my wise card. Consequently I have £17 pounds to my name but several hundred in the account in Cambridge. I am in a nightmare. I tried transferring just £1... Result: PAYMENT DECLINED! I am going to have to try and check myself into a psychiatric hospital here in Tangier as I face imminent homelessness on the streets of Tangier which at night could be dangerous to me. I have gone into mania and it is frightening because they hinder me at every step!

I had an auto loan with this company because that's what Tesla offered. Huge mistake. Everything they do makes it difficult for the customer to do business with them. Everything is insanely slow and there's low limits for paying off the loan. The title will take nearly two months to get to me. Stay far away from this company.

I have a brain tumour, poor memory and vision loss and I spent four hours filling in passwords, passcodes, ID, pins etc. I was told to contact the fraud department. I told the ignorant fraud man that I have serious life-threatening illnesses. But, he asked me endless questions about how I came across an investment company. I am deeply shocked and highly stressed from the ordeal & interrogation. I will be closing my account and this company deserves a ZERO rating. Horrid!
