I've bought one part and saw a cheaper one online, I contacted with an email and they never reply!This price guarantee on their web is false!The UPS got my mailbox damaged, and the cover wheel was wet so team Schimedmann cleaned it before shipping.This was nice and cheap.
Workshop: it is usually quite busy, but the service offered by Schmiedmann is superb, so all things considered worth the wait. They are very helpful in their Odense workshop with wide expertise of many BMW models. Big plus that the receipts are detailed to the very last screw.Webshop: online stock is always up to date and delivery is extremely fast. I've had a problem once in the past, but the RMA process went smootly.
Made several adjustments to my car without my consent. Did not deliver on time and forced me to pay crazy car-hire prices for another day of work because their mechanic was sick. I negotiated a small discount on the things that we had not agreed, but have since completely disregarded this. They do not reply to my emails at any time. 10/10 would not reccomend.
I have been shopping with schmiedmann.com since 2014 and can not recommend them enough. If I left a review for every single order I have placed with them, every one would be 5 stars so that would make it around 285 stars.90% of the issues (which are few) I have had have been things on my end, nothing to do with them yet they were endlessly helpful with identifying the issue. The other 10% have had solutions found extremely quickly.Out of stock parts typically take longer than the website estimates, but you can see exactly what they have received and are still waiting for. You can even split the order if you need something they have received quickly. On that note they use DHL for shipping which gets parts from Denmark to Western Australia faster than I can get parts delivered from Eastern Australia.100% recommend getting parts from here, and typically do so at car shows/meets etc.Thank you as always for your work. Ordered used rear wiper motor. Arrives. Leaks. Request refund. Back-and-forth emails with pictures. They stop replying. Open PayPal case. Submit documentation. Paypal grants refund but Schmiedmann wants the part back (presumably so they can sell it it again). USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL are all uneconomical to return to Norway. Finally try ParcelMonkey, spending $40 to get $95 back. 2 months wasted.Update 6/15/2021. Two months from when I wrote this, and 4 months from the original order, I received a PayPal refund for the full amount. I did however have to pay about $40 to return the item. My PayPal refund request was rejected because they did not recognize ParcelMoney's tracking information. When Schmiedmann received the package, they did not refund my money until I contacted them. And then it took two more reminders to actually get the PayPal refund processed. YMMVIt was a long road.
I ordered a engine hood for my BMW F32 and as soon as I opened the shipment I saw that the hood had severe damage. Now this might sound bad in the first place but, as soon as I contacted the manufacturer I was surprised with an excellent service. I sent the manufacturer pictures of the packaging and the damaged hood.So they sent me a completely new hood on the same day I contacted them !Communication to the seller was always there and I can only say that they did a great job with everything. Like i said I couldn't be happier with the service.Regarding the product, it is very well made and im satisfied with the product.If you are planning to buy at Schmiedmann I can 100% advice you to do it.
