Review Time
The first vehicle I was given had wet seats and smelled as if something died in it. The second vehicle was absolutely filthy. The windows were so dirty it was difficult to see and the car had dog hair everywhere. Awful rental company
Place was total chaos, had to provide our declaration of our insurance, we were not told ahead of time. All the customers were on their phones trying to get acceptable paperwork to rent. After checking in we had to wait for our suv which we prepaid for. 45 minutes later we asked if we could get anything. They provided a car, no refund of the difference and told we could bring it back half full, don’t believe a thing they tell you. Rude counter worker and was rolling their eyes at customers. Like I said total chaos.
Awful customer service. I booked a full-size SUV, but despite arriving on time, they gave me a mid-size. No apology offered, and the car was hardly clean. Avoid at all costs. The office is filthy.
If I could give this place a 0 review, or even negative, I would. First of all they take FOREVER to answer the call. I had to request a late pick up as my flight was delayed. Before my pick up time, I kept on calling them and calling them and they would nottt answer and I was no showed. Then I was told if I wait by the shuttle station every, 15-20 mins the shuttle service comes to pick customers up, guess what? NOBODY DID. I WAS ALONE IN AN UNKNOWN CITY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. Customer service will still not pick up the phone and when they finally did they were rude AF. On top of that, we did not even get the car we requested. When I finally ubered to one of their location, they asked me if I want to pay for insurance and waive collision damage as well which I had to pay extra for. I said yes, I paid extra for collision waiver and $40 a day for insurance. We got rear ended. Then they took my insurance info saying I am liable even though I PAID FOR INSURANCE. FINE. The customer service was again rude af (this one was in person). I kept on asking him why did I pay extra for insurance and he said, I do not care, I need a claim from your insurance which I then did. After charging money for insurance, and extra money for collision waiver they had the audacity to keep my deposit as well!! I tried to contact customer service who then said I need to contact their case manager. I did. TWO CASE MANAGER. NONE OF THEM ANSWERED. I left an urgent voicemail and STILL HAVE NOIT HEARD BACK. This company need to be prepared for some wild legal actions they will be facing if this is how they be scamming people.
When arrived to pick up car there was only one person working. He was nice and doing the best he could with the line. The car however was a POS. Malibu that had a huge dent in drivers side, windshield wipers came on every time started car and had to wiggle it around to get it to stop, trunk did not stay up when opened. Could have at least put a stick in to use. Hard to hold open and put luggage in. For the price paid I should have gone to a well known rental. Was not worth the small amount of difference. Charged for additional driver when there was none. This place should be called Rent a Wreck or Dent. Be aware!
I rented a car from West Palm Beach on Jan. 16th to which my email stated I would receive a Sonata or similar which I did (Sentra); however, the car was in an accident the day before I got it and had no working headlight. We were in a rush to get to a wedding at 5:00 and so was forced to take the car. We could not drive it at night because of the headlight and had to incur$120.00 in Uber fees plus $133.85 for the car. When I brought it back I told the man behind the glass window and he said he would make note of it and I would hear from someone in approximately 5 days. It is now 19 days since the conversation and have not heard back from anyone. I feel I should be compensated for the $120.00 for the Ubers that were taken from Jan. 16th to Jan. 20th.
I would appreciate hearing back from management ASAP. I have the receipts for the Ubers.
I took a vacation from January 16 to 20 and booked a package that included a flight, hotel, and rental car through a company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Firstly, their shuttle never arrived to pick us up from the airport, forcing us to catch an airport shuttle to another rental location, and then we had to take an Uber from there. Upon arrival, there was an extremely long line, and I was anxious about getting to my hotel before they canceled my reservation. I had already paid $125 for a car for four days, but they claimed they couldn't find their inventory and had to upgrade me to a more expensive vehicle. I should have just taken an Uber to the hotel and lost the $125, but I ended up accepting the car, which cost an additional $50 per day, plus insurance for $26 a day. It feels unfair how they take advantage of tourists. In total, I spent an extra $378 on top of the initial $125. This company is not trustworthy, and I learned a hard lesson. Next time, I’ll choose a more reputable rental service. I couldn't wait to return to New Orleans to share my experience. These people are truly taking advantage of customers, and I hope others read these reviews before choosing them.
The initial pickup at the airport took more than 45 minutes, and I discovered that the rental facility is located 2.5 miles away in a questionable warehouse area. The reception area was dirty and had a strong odor of marijuana. Upon entering, I found one agent on the phone dealing with a customer issue for 20 minutes while I waited. Another agent at the counter was focused on the computer, failing to acknowledge me or offer any greeting. After an additional 15 minutes of waiting, the female agent finally offered assistance. The car itself was decent but not clean. Upon returning the vehicle, I witnessed a loud argument between the shuttle driver and another employee regarding the number of passengers. The entire operation feels very unprofessional and questionable. I strongly suggest avoiding this service and opting for a more reputable rental company, even if it costs more.
My experience took place in a location in Nevada. Everything that others have mentioned about the lengthy wait time is accurate (I waited over 75 minutes in line), along with the hidden charges, insurance issues, and the unprofessional behavior. One significant detail they don't clearly disclose is the $1,000 fee for crossing state lines out of Nevada. If you're hoping to travel to Arizona, Southern Utah for a family event, or California, be ready for that hefty charge. I regret not checking reviews and reading the fine print before signing the rental agreement with this service. Unfortunately, that wasn't the worst part. What began as a minor shimmy, indicating a possible alignment issue, escalated to a nearly catastrophic situation where the wheel was almost detached, leading to nearly $600 in towing costs. I'm currently waiting to see if we will be reimbursed, but I have little hope. All the wheels were missing lug nuts, with three out of five on the driver's front having fallen off and a fourth barely holding on. It's fortunate that there wasn't a serious accident. Additionally, they had mismatched plates on the wrong vehicle. Driving in Nevada with incorrect plates can result in a $1,000 fine and six months in jail if convicted. RENTER BEWARE!
My flight arrived at 11pm, which coincided with their closing time. I made the reservation through a third party and wasn’t informed that they would be closed, yet they still accepted my booking for that time. We waited for a shuttle that never arrived and ended up stranded at the airport. The following day, when I called to check on my reservation, the customer service was unhelpful and rude. They informed me that they do not contact customers regarding reservations or closures and suggested I should have checked their website for hours. They showed no concern for our situation. Our reserved cars were given away, forcing us to settle for a smaller vehicle at the same price but for fewer days. They made no effort to accommodate us in any way.
