My experience with SchoolSpace has been great largely because of the support I’ve received from Emily Barun.
Over the past two to three months, Emily has been consistently patient, responsive, and genuinely supportive. I’ve been in ongoing discussions with a school about using their space, and at times the process became really difficult and uncertain. Throughout all of that, Emily never dropped the ball — she was always positive, always replying, and always checking in with alternative options when things weren’t moving.
What really stood out was her attitude during the tougher moments. Even when things felt stuck or frustrating, she remained encouraging and proactive, which made a huge difference. Now that the space has finally become available, Emily has continued to push things forward and support the opening of the venue, which we’ve successfully managed to secure through SchoolSpace.
It’s rare to come across someone so consistent, patient, and genuinely invested in helping you find solutions. That level of support is what makes the experience with SchoolSpace stand out for me.

I’ve never had to complain about anything until I dealt with this service. Their ongoing incompetence has severely affected my business. My fitness company was happily booked into a venue for 7 years. However, they decided to take on more bookings at the same time, which led to us being moved unexpectedly. Since relocating, we’ve faced numerous last-minute cancellations due to overlooked events in their calendar. I’ve sent countless emails and made phone calls to explain the situation, but I’ve been ignored or brushed off repeatedly. Our attendance has dropped significantly because of the inconsistency, leading to financial and emotional strain. It seems they don’t care at all. I strongly advise against using them.
The communication was generally friendly and responsive. A few viewings were successfully arranged before the event, but there were issues during one of them due to miscommunication about the venue. Security was unaware of the viewing and didn’t allow me entry, leaving me outside for around 15 minutes until it was resolved. On the event day, there were several technical issues, and the staff were unable to assist since they weren’t familiar with the venue.
During our call, the representative was incredibly helpful and clear, making everything easy to understand. We haven’t made the booking yet, but I’m confident we will. The call was straightforward, lasting just 10 minutes, and I got all the information I needed to make a decision.
This has been the worst experience, and it remains unresolved. I received an invoice for overstaying my booking, which has taken nearly 3 months to address without resolution. I’ve tried calling, leaving messages, and emailing, but the responses have been slow and unhelpful. They claim we overstayed and have asked for proof, despite having a long history with the venue without issues. I’ve requested the evidence, but it’s the same frustrating story.
This service is one to avoid! There have been repeated instances where staff failed to show up to open the venues, numerous communication errors, overcharged invoices, and even finding a venue in unacceptable conditions. Whatever your worst-case scenario might be, this service seems to deliver on that and more!
