Review Time
I bought the Deborah dress in black. It was great and all the pockets were nice. I then bought the same dress in red and it didn't look as good. After I tried it on and seeing that it wasn't as attractive, I immediately put it back in its package and returned it. Now I am being told that it will be sent back because of wear, a little pin hole. I NEVER wore the dress except to try it on....and not sure if it was received that way, but they are going to return it and I have to pay for it. I have NEVER had customer service like this, and therefore will NEVER buy anything from them again and will strongly recommend others do not also.
I bought my Annie jacket for my trip to Ireland. (Still there as I write this) It kept me warm and dry! I carried sunglasses, passport, credit cards, maps, keys, camera, phone, lipstick, change, water bottle and umbrella all in the pockets! Hands were free and I never worried about forgetting something or getting pick pocketed. Also had a protection device my son insisted I take in one of the handy sleeve pockets. Great travel accessory!
Fit is poor. No one's body is a cylinder, but this is how the vest is cut. If one is being realistic, there are too many pockets. On the positive side, the fabric is not too heavy and it does have some interesting features like the magnetized hand pocket closures.
VERY poor quality vest!!! The zippers repeatedly get stuck and won't open or close. I finally had to take scissors and cut open one of the zippered pockets so I could remove my car keys. The customer service representative was rude and unhelpful. I felt that she was being evasive with me and not giving me straight-forward answers when I asked if SCOTTeVEST would pay for the return shipping fee. Why not give me a straight answer and stop wasting my time? Instead, she repeatedly said that I needed to pay for the shipping fee and ONLY when I expressed my disappointment and requested to speak with a supervisor, she changed her tune and said that SCOTTeVEST does offer an option to pay the return shipping fee. I resent that she wasted my time and did not say this from the get-go. I do NOT recommend SCOTTeVEST to anyone! One of the worse companies that I have ever dealt with.
It's surprising that media pockets are not yet ubiquitous. At any rate, the Scott Shirt is very appreciated, it looks good, well cut, and versatile. I've worn mine at least once a week for several months. The media pocket at the shoulder is a bit too far out - rides on the upper arm rather than pec. The material overall is good but tends to snag if you're not careful.
I bought my wifes Scottevest and didnt get the size right. WITHOUT question then sent her the right size. We returned the wrong one. Credit was issued, the right one was right and all are happy.Since this we have recommended and had 3 of our friends but theirsI am next on the list to get mine
I absolutely love this sweatshirt. I bought it in a small and it was waaaay to snug so sized up to a medium and it was good but still a bit tight so bought a large which is more comfy but maybe a tad too large (feeling like Goldilocks from the children's story). Nonetheless I'll be keeping bothe the medium and the large andgiving the small as a gift to one of my much smaller friends (I'm a size 6-8 depending on my food to exercise ratio). I wore this sweatshirt on a cruise and never had to bring a purse when I got off the ship in different ports because of all the wonderful pockets. I do need to learn to put things in the same pockets each time though because I sometimes had to go through several to find what I was looking for! My favorite travel apparel ever!
I like the quality of the jacket and the accessibility of the pockets but I had to pay someone to shorten the sleeves and adjust the lining.For some reason the lining is longer than the sleeves and that doesn't make sense to me. Overall I like the features of the jacket but I wasn't planning on having to pay someone to make it work.
