Price is not guaranteed as advertised. I'd had 2 mechanics come out to look at my car who were unable to advise what the issue was and said it'd need to go to a Peugeot specialist. When the company came to collect my car they miraculously determined what was wrong with it within 5 minutes which was extremely severe so they'd have to reduce the price they could offer me. I think they definitely took advantage of the fact I was unable to move the car so didn't have many options. The driver was also over 2 hours late to collect the car.
Turned up next day and took my car which i couldn't drive due to the seat sliding. So i can get on with buying a new one. Saved me loads of hassle with getting shot of it. Cheers. Not much money but it was a 17 year old car with faults so it didn't expect to get much for it. Just glad to get rid of it.
Rang them for a quote very polite and freindly on the phone offered a price. We told them we would think about and get back to them.
Since then I have received 10 missed calls from them all left voice mails and texts.
It's really anouying you would think they would get the hint.

I requested a quote, being transparent about the car's condition. It had some issues but was still operational, so I thought they could find a potential buyer. However, the quote I received was below even scrap value. I provided additional details, sent photos, and followed up multiple times, yet after over a week, I received no response. Even if that was the best offer they could manage, the lack of communication and updates is unacceptable. Frustrated with the wait, I reached out to a local scrap yard and others, who offered a much better price with collection included. Given the poor quote and absence of communication, the service was a total waste of my time; it would have been much quicker to deal directly with others or use a marketplace!
The service facilitated the car scrapping process. However, they were unable to provide a price guarantee, and the scrap yard altered their quote after collection. I attempted to reach out via email for assistance but received no response.
I had a delightful conversation with a very kind representative today. Although I can be forgetful, I'm fairly certain her name was Caitlin. She was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to speak with. I couldn't have asked for a better interaction.
