The online assessment required me to record audio (which I agreed to) at question 9. After submitting my audio, the screen failed to progress to question 10, and the camera turned on unexpectedly. Despite pressing submit to continue, there was a delay of about a minute before moving forward. This raises serious concerns regarding the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. I did not consent to any visual recording and had no chance to halt the process. This felt like a significant invasion of privacy. I requested the removal of my data and to withdraw my application, but received no response, indicating another violation of Australian Privacy Principles.
The online assessment process requested audio recording consent, which was agreed upon. However, after submitting the audio for question 9, the screen failed to proceed to question 10, and unexpectedly activated the camera. Even after multiple attempts to submit and move forward, the screen remained unresponsive for over a minute. This seems to violate the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles, as I did not consent to visual recording and had no chance to stop the process. This feels like a serious invasion of privacy. I requested the removal of my data and to withdraw my application, but received no response, indicating another breach of privacy principles.
After retiring from a successful career in law enforcement, I joined this company and was shocked. During my first 30 minutes, I witnessed staff throwing objects at each other. One claimed to be an ex-soldier but seemed clueless. Another recruit was visibly distressed from a recent personal tragedy, while another displayed violent tendencies due to autism. The atmosphere was unprofessional, with a noticeable smell of drugs and trainers lacking competence, except for one individual. It's alarming that such a company is responsible for managing prisoners.
I attended an interview with two representatives who seemed uninterested from the start. If they already have preferred candidates, it's unfair to waste others' time. Their first question was about my current role, and after just a few words, they rushed me along. I don't understand why the company can't conduct interviews independently anymore. If they lack interest, they should let another agency handle the process.
It’s a travesty that this disorganized company is in charge of NHS accommodations. They provide subpar services, exploit foreign healthcare workers, and charge exorbitant rates for conditions that are worse than prison (one toilet/shower for six adults), with dilapidated facilities. If healthcare workers are not cared for, how can we expect them to care for patients?
I want to commend the representative for conducting a professional interview. She was polite and used an appropriate background to maintain privacy. The interview lasted an hour, and despite poor internet connection, she maintained composure. We engaged in a role play scenario, which was insightful. She explained the job role thoroughly and requested to see all necessary documents before moving forward. Additionally, she ensured I understood everything discussed and provided a start date for preparation.
