I have used this company a few time back and forth to UK. Always straightforward and satisfied with service. They make it as stress free as possible and guide you through each step. A big shout out to Dave the guy who drops off and picks up boxes for moving. He is so helpful and goes above and beyond to make the whole experience as smooth as possible

Remember to record the items in each box - after the boxes/cube is picked up these need to be listed and valued.
We shipped a large cube from UK to NZ, and were charged GST as we were out if the country for <21 months - nothing to do with Sevenseas, but was a 4K bill that we were not expecting.

I used Seven Seas Worldwide to move my belongings from Australia to the US. It was one of the more affordable shipping options I found. Everything went mostly smoothly from empty box drop off, box pick up and the finally delivery. When my full boxes were picked up the driver forgot certain paperwork so had to take a photo of my passport on their phone which I found a little concerning from a privacy standpoint. I was a bit disappointed they used FedEx rather than their own delivery drivers in the US as my boxes were split into two and delivered separately. I was also charged a customs fee by FedEx so that is something to consider. Overall it was a good experience and I would use Seven Seas again.

Severe damage with no accountability.

My surfboard valued at over $1,000 was destroyed, and the company completely denied any responsibility. They shipped our household items from one city to another. While most items arrived intact, one box was severely crushed and had multiple holes, and the driver mishandled it disrespectfully. I had to intervene and remove the box myself to prevent further damage. Despite providing detailed evidence of the situation, the company claimed they were not liable for any damages based on their shipping terms. They stated they had reviewed the evidence but found no breach of contract or negligence on their part. I strongly advise reading the fine print and avoiding sending valuable items with them, as you will receive no compensation!

I ultimately chose them because they were the cheapest around and a friend had used them and recommended them.
The whole process was super easy, filling in a quote and then booking for the boxes and packaging to be delivered (was very impressed they did this).

The drivers both in Australia and the UK were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. They were prompt, on time and handled everything with care.

The online customer service system was great as I had a few questions. Once my items were on the ship I could track it virtually and the call to pick a delivery slot was super quick and I even got a slot two days before Christmas (which is usually unheard of!)

I shipped 3 suitcases from NZ to UK and the experience was excellent. Getting a quote was straightforward compared to other services and the pricing was fair. Communication with the service for any inquiries was easy. The costs were clear, and I was informed about customs charges prior to booking. The delivery was door to door.

Decent online assistance but unpleasant experience with driver

- The quality of the boxes was good, and the delivery process for the empty boxes went smoothly. Placing online orders and submitting documents was straightforward. - Unfortunately, the pick-up drivers were quite rude! They disregarded my apartment's rules and started yelling the moment I opened the door. They claimed I had sent too many boxes for their truck! I'm worried about how my boxes will be treated and sincerely hope they arrive safely.

STAY AWAY!

This is by far the worst shipping service I've ever experienced. They only care about your money and show no concern for customer support. I waited two days for a delivery that was promised within a one-hour window, only to find it was sent to the wrong address. I couldn't change the address, so I had to wait outside the wrong house for hours in the cold with my two young children. I couldn't fit the parcel in my vehicle, so I had to leave it with a neighbor and arrange my own pickup and delivery. When I finally received the package, it contained the wrong items! Customer service has been completely unhelpful throughout this ordeal, merely suggesting I fill my own boxes at an additional cost. They want to charge me extra for failing to deliver the service I already paid for. Not a single aspect of this service has been handled properly, and they offer no compensation—only more fees! They have ruined my last days in England with my children. I had to cancel plans for my kids to say goodbye to their grandparents due to their mistakes. I'm extremely frustrated. I've included my booking number in this review for the company to follow up on this situation, but I expect they will only respond with more charges.
