Complete waste of money! After a visit of less than an hour, nothing was resolved and I ended up with a bill of £601... truly disgraceful... AVOID at all costs and don’t mix it up with others that have similar names...

They charge by the hour but provide an estimate that is far below the actual cost of completing the work. At over £400 an hour, you expect skilled professionals, not someone who has to redo the job.

Stay away from this company

I would strongly advise against using this company. They mislead customers with their pricing and take advantage of people’s urgent situations to charge excessive fees. Their customer service was appalling at every level. One representative was particularly rude and either completely incompetent or misleading about the services. I was told the plumbers set their rates, but the plumber clarified that the company sets them. This seems like a tactic to mislead customers into using their services, resulting in outrageous bills. They deliberately avoid being transparent with their pricing to get their plumbers in the door. The unclear information provided meant I couldn't make an informed decision about the service.

Overpriced service from We Fix 24 Ltd

My boiler urgently needed repair as I had no hot water or heating, so I regrettably chose this service without checking reviews. I was quoted a £50 call-out fee, which seemed reasonable, and the technician arrived within 30 minutes. While the job was done well, the final bill was shockingly high, including an 'admin fee' of over £900. Since the technician insisted he couldn't leave until I paid and I was working from home, I felt pressured to pay in full right then. Avoid this service at all costs. They know they overcharged me, and I hope they eventually face consequences for their actions. Please be cautious and do not use this service.

Fraudulent operation

This is clearly a fraudulent company. They operate under multiple names to shield themselves. They quoted a £50 call-out charge, but once on-site, they take their time assessing the issue, exceeding the hour. Then you get hit with a bill for £350, which includes 'extra time' and an 'admission fee.' I contested this, but the technician wouldn’t leave until payment was made. They then stop responding and fail to send follow-up quotes. It seems they run a scam for quick visits to charge customers exorbitantly, then refuse to return for necessary repairs.

Terrible experience - one star is too generous

This review concerns a specific service and should be taken seriously. Please avoid this company at all costs! It’s a complete scam! The technician came to my home after a flood to check electrical safety. He claimed multiple items were damaged, but a second technician later confirmed they were not. He spent 7 hours changing a couple of light bulbs and a fire alarm. They lack transparency in pricing and trick you into signing contracts. They do unnecessary work and then send an invoice for £2,285! I was understandably upset and confused. The technician refused to leave until I paid, despite my protests about the amount. As a woman living alone, this experience was terrifying. Their behavior was coercive and left me visibly shaken. They employ aggressive business practices! I’m currently discussing this with the Ombudsman and urge others to report this company as well. Legal advice is also being sought. This operation needs to be shut down immediately.

Good work but some issues

The technician worked diligently until the repair was finished. However, there were a couple of negatives: the bath panel wasn’t reattached properly, and the wall near the bath was damaged.

Outrageous charges for simple repair

I was charged £440 for what was essentially just fitting a washer. This included a £69 call-out fee and an inflated admin fee. The engineer was fine and professional, but my complaint lies with the company itself, which seems to operate under various names and hides behind excessive fees. I will never use them again and strongly advise others to steer clear. Their business practices are completely unprofessional.
