I first met Richard Murray in a different accountancy firm in 2013 when I started contracting. He did a really good job of helping me understand how everything worked and couldn't have been more pro-active in setting everything up.When he moved to SG Accounting, switching company was a no-brainer. He has always held quality of service over quantity of clients, something which rings true across SG.Understanding how things actually work and what the rules are really helps, I still have to hide a grin when contractors talk in the office. So many remain unaware of the facts and make incorrect assumptions based on office gossip. They're also really nice social people (humans), they hosted an evening in London late 2018 on tax updates, contracts, IR35 and wealth management. Strangely enjoyable sessions followed by an evening in the bar. Having talked to a large number of the Team in and out of the office - these guys really shine.
