Perfect Trip

Sheenco planned an amazing trip for us to Scotland. There was not a single hiccup on our trip. Our driver was incredible. All of the accommodations were comfortable. We cannot say enough good things about our trip and we truly feel that Sheenco made it seamless.

Sheenco's Ireland Planned Trip 2025

Sheenco truly helped me plan a wonderful vacation through Northwest Ireland! Ashford Castle was majestic and had a special aura to it. I really enjoyed the "Hawk Walk" experience, Slieve League Cliffs was majestic, and Kilronan Castle was great as well. The chauffer was so nice and insightful about the history or Ireland. This was a wonderful trip, and I'm truly grateful to Theresa and Suannie for their attention to detail and support here.

Ireland: Self-Drive Castle Stay Vacation

We recently returned from a fantastic 12-day adventure to Ireland. Sheenco Travel worked with me to craft a self-drive castle stay trip. My dealings with the team included identifying the castles I wanted to reserve, the amount of days per stay, daily excursions, dining reservations and car rental. In addition, once payments were completed, I remained in connect with Sheenco to add, change, ask for suggestions, and adjust plans if needed. All phases of the planning went very well. As soon as we met our transfer driver in Dublin to the many folks we met along our journey, we didn't encounter any issues with our arrangements made with Sheenco Travel.

Some hiccups, but a great trip

Some hiccups, but still a great trip! This was our second trip to Scotland with Sheenco, and we were able to tailor some visits since we had already been. We also learned lessons about using hotels and cities as hubs instead of traveling each day. That said, we had problems with a couple of hotels, both from our end (not being focused enough on the details) and on Sheenco's end of not ensuring appropriate rooms ahead of time. In two places, we had to contact Sheenco to see about different rooms, especially in one city where the initial "Deluxe" room faced the hotel's garbage bins. The final hotel was also under a major renovation that would have been nice to know beforehand. The work did not adversely impact our stay, but from a customer service perspective, it would have been nice to know ahead of our arrival. A customer service tip for future reference....Even with these hiccups, Sheenco provided great recommendations for visits and tours and was very helpful in securing reservations prior to arrival. We saw some amazing sites, including my ancestors' clan seat--Castle Fraser--as well the Kelpies, a personal favorite. If you have not visited Scotland before, it should be on your bucket list, and Sheenco can help you make the best of your trip.Since we have toured Scotland twice and Sheenco now offers similar help for Ireland, that is our next destination. Looking forward to it!

Sheenco Travel planned a great trip

Sheenco Travel (Genevieve & Naomi) put together a great 2 week self driving tour/vacation of Ireland. We started in Dublin, to Cork, Killarney, Galway, Kilronan Castle, and finally Carton House Hotel before having to depart. We got to see the vibrant cities and the beautiful countryside. The tours we wanted were all reserved and taken care of as part of our trip. I would definitely use Sheenco Travel to plan another trip for us and would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Sheenco knows how to plan a magnificent adventure!

Sheenco arranged a trip to Ireland for myself and my husband in February. We knew the weather could be unpredictable but the timing was perfect for us. Everything they arranged, from hotels to our driver/guide were perfect! Special attention was given to attractions and experiences we requested that were unique, such as falconry school and horseback riding in Killarney national park. I have give extra credit to driver/guide Ger! An absolute gem, historian and genuine lover of Ireland. He added so much more to our experience each day he spent with us. Everything was seamless, effortless and designed for our personal preferences. I cannot recommend Sheenco highly enough!

Great travel agent

Great travel agent! I gave vague ideas of what type of vacation I was looking for and they delivered a fabulous itinerary, made all the arrangement at world-class castles/hotels/restaurants which led to the best vacation of our lives! Would highly recommend.

A trip to remember ...

From start to finish Sheenco Travel did an amazing job. It is no small feat to put together a memorable trip for 15 travelers, but Eithne and her group could not have created a more perfect trip. She took the time to listen to what we wanted to accomplish on our first trip to Ireland and it couldn't have been more spectacular. From our mode of transportation (our driver, Martin, was informative AND entertaining), our top-notch accommodations, and recommendations for food and added excursions - it was planned beautifully. I highly recommend Sheenco Travel, and we will definitely use again for future travels.

Our Scotland trip was one we will remember forever

Our Scotland trip was one we will remember forever. Thank you so much! What a beautiful country, with such kind, lovely people who are interested in sharing their history and their country with us.The real highlight of our trip was our driver and tour director, Maurice. He was absolutely the best! He shared so much history with us and always had a fun side trip when we had extra time to see more. If something was not open yet or a change to hours/availability, Maurice had various “Plan Bs” at the ready and off we went. We were never looking for something interesting and fun to do.We loved every hotel we stayed in. They were all unique for their own accommodations and history. A couple of honorable mentions are The Culloden House (so much history and great staff!) and the Inverlochy Castle (enjoyed our first afternoon tea - what a treat!)While the Knockendarroch Inn was more contemporary within the rooms (which we enjoyed at that point in our trip), the staff were so great and very accommodating. They had a fun system using doorstops that were owls to note when you were in “Do Not Disturb” mode. We had fun with the owls. Dora’s Doorstops are destined to make their way into our home here in Arizona. We enjoyed every outing but had a few callouts that we want to mention. The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo was wonderful! Our seats could not have been better with us facing the bands as they would march through the Esplanade. We were excited to see so much participation from the USA, but The Massed Pipes and Drums were our favorites. The Culloden battlefield tour guide was exceptional, and he drew our hotel into the experience, which was very cool! We really thought that all the things at Loch Ness were going to be too touristy, but they were great. The Loch Ness Experience was interesting, and the boat ride was wonderful to see just how large the Loch really is and to get an amazing front row view of Urquhart Castle. We are sure that we saw Nessie! The walking tour of the old course at St. Andrews was fun for us, as we have taken up golfing in our retirement. We had dinner at the Scran & Scallie on our last night in Edinburgh and it did not disappoint. What a great meal! We have a couple of recommendations about setting expectations that we want to share with you to help you make your services even better than they are already:1. Ensure that someone familiar with the distances/travel times reviews the requested itinerary with the customer. There were a couple of times on our trip, where our driver suggested alternate sites to visit because to do the drive as stated in the itinerary was too far or was back-tracking over areas we had already visited. The Isle of Skye trip was not really a possibility without staying a night on the Isle. We would have been driving the whole time with no time to see the sights. We decided not to take that trip, but were able to visit Eilean Donan Castle, which we loved! We understand that the roads can be slow and take longer than expected on the Isle.2. Provide a full description of what meals are included with the cost of the hotel. We had some confusion with Inverlochy Castle where we thought dinner was included and it was not and one where dinner was included at the Knockendarroch Hotel, and we had double booked a dinner in the town. In each case, the hotel staff got everything sorted for us and we enjoyed a meal at the nearby Founder’s Inn for Inverlochy and had a wonderful dinner at the Knockendarroch Hotel. We were delighted to learn that breakfast was included at all our hotels, but that was not clear in our paperwork. We arrived home with wonderful memories and gifts for family and friends such as Highland Soaps, Shortbread, Iain Burnett chocolates, Christmas ornaments, and St. Andrews golf wear. The Highland Cows were favorites for us. We have added a large photo of a Highland Cow to our living room wall. We named him Glencoe. We also brought back some framed photos of three Highland Cows from Claire Ball Photography that we found at The Culloden House. Interestingly, we were able to meet Claire, as she was changing out pictures from her display while we were there. What a treat! We thank you for planning a wonderful trip for us! Stranded in Clare, Ireland

I just returned to Dublin from your castle tour of Ireland. NOT HAPPY!! On September 11th we arrived in Dublin. Our first stop was a tour of Guinness (personally I don’t drink, nor do I have any interest what so ever how alcohol is made), but very much to my surprise I did find it very interesting and enjoyed it.Going forward on September 14, we were brought to Micil Distillery Tour in Galway. It was absolutely awful, the smell was unbearable. It was so bad I left before the tour started (there were six of us in the group and one by one we all walked out it was so bad.) The day didn’t get any better, we arrived at Glenlo Abbey Hotel, you booked dinner at the Pullman. There was not a single thing on the menu I could find to eat!! I went to sleep HUNGRY that night. I do not spend $6500 to go to bed HUNGRY!!! I was livid, it left me so upset it ruined my vacation. On our last day at Dromoland Castle we arranged and PAID for a transfer from the castle back to Dublin Citi Hotel in Dublin. No one showed up to get us!! When we asked the hotel to call your driver Tim Morrissey (name on our reservation) he told them he was NOT aware he was to pick us up. YOU literally left us STRANDED in Clare. I cannot believe your company can be so careless. My sister and I with the help from Dromoland Castle had to find new arrangements to get to Dublin ourselves. Not only did we not have a way to Dublin we also had purchased tickets in advance before we left for Ireland to Trinity Library and the Book of Kells, which to say the least we missed seeing, because we arrived too late for our set time they given us. I am requesting a refund for the transfer, the Trinity Library and the Book of Kells due to your carelessness. The only ray of sunshine for me on this tour was our driver Paddy. He was delightful, personable and knowledgeable. Paddy went out of his way to make everyone in our group happy and succeeded. This was my first experience in Ireland (and will probably my last) I am very disappointed by the entire experience.I would not consider recommending your company to anyone.
