I see that many are saying that ebonyonline and shophairwigs is the same company and they are. There is a points system w ebonyonline and I am waiting to see my points show up b/c they are the same company. Now then, my experience is as follows. On shophairwigs.com, it clearly states “FREESHIPPING”, but I did not receive free shipping even after I entered the code. I reached out to them (shophairwigs) and their response was that I could NOT RECEIVE FREESHIPPING due to the weight of my order. I strictly ordered drawstring ponytails, to the tune of $140 something dollars. I sent them a realtime screenshot of their (shophairwigs) website clearly stating that my order was well over the specified (by them) amount. Still, I COULD NOT RECEIVE FREESHIPPING due to the weight of my order. This clause/disclosure/exception WAS NEVER featured on their website!!!!!! My order ended up being nearly $160.00. They reached out to me in a final email stating that I would get a percentage off which totaled $7 and some odd cents. As for the weight, my order was just left at my door by what clearly seemed to be an independent delivery 📦 person. My thoughts are that they paid a third party (not fed ex, usps, or ups to deliver my order. This makes me think that they (shophairwigs) are passing off a portion of the shipping/delivery according to someone else’s request to ship/deliver. When I picked up my box 📦, it was as “light as a feather” and I stood holding it in one hand over my head. The ponytails are is beautiful and the order placed and amount of time for delivery was extremely fast. I will buy with them again but I needed to give this review to help other potential buyers to look out for the points system and non-freeshipping issue. I appreciate them getting back to me and also for sending beautiful products, but still…………, “business is business”!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a wig and a ponytail from them. The package said it was delivered but it wasn't. USPS doesn't even deliver to my porch. They delivered to a mailbox and it said that the package was delivered to my porch. I also filed a missing package report with USPS. I reached out to shop hair wigs or ebony line which is the same company via email and they got back to me told me. Thank you for filing missing package report with USPS and that they would be getting back to me as in USPS. USPS got back to me and said that because the package was marked as delivered, there was nothing that they could do about it because they could no longer track the package. And ebony line said that in order for them to do anything for me. I would have had to pay for my order and then email them to pay for an additional shipping charge that got a signature. And that would ensure delivery even though it says that my package is insured up to $100 Via USPS. And there's nothing on the website that states this at all. So buyer beware and I'm going to continue to do more research and see what I can do to stop them from selling anything ever again. And if any of you want to contact me, hit me up on my FB SinbrLasan. I'd love to have enough people for a civil suit because I know you guys are out there. These guys have made a lot of money off a lot of people and are not being held accountable for not delivering. Mind you, this is the second order that has not shown up that I've ordered from them the first time. I thought it was a fluke because they didn't update my address when I moved from California even though I updated it and it stated on my end that it was updated. They sent it to my old address. So I gave them another try and now this has happened.
Shophairwigs and ebonyline are the same company. Do not order from this company. It is hard to reach someone directly. They will cancel your order; without telling u, and leave u screwed. Proceed with caution when doing business with this company.
I started buying wigs from ShopHairWigs when the other company I used to buy from stopped selling wigs. I have to say that my experience has been disappointing.While the wigs are reasonably priced and shipped quickly, only 2 of the wigs (Finn wig and Fara wig) I received actually looked like what was on the website and package. The others did not even look close. A huge disappointment and waste of money. I didn't even bother trying to return them. I just threw them in the trash. I'll have to find another site to purchase my wigs.
I bought a wig, similar to the ones I buy from beauty supply store. This wig was supposedly a Bobbi Boss wig which I love. I wa unable to get the wig on my head. A person would have to have a head the size of a peanut to wear this wig. I have an average size head and have worn Bobbi Boss wigs since battling cancer. I have never had this problem before. (and yes, I did take the straps apart inside the wig). I will never order from this company again
2nd time doing business with them by mistake after having another bad experience with them yrs ago. PLEASE PUT THEM ON YOUR BOYCOTT LIST!! They send you wigs that are falsely advertised. NOT at all the colors that they advertise desperately just to make a dollar. They also treat you like a bill collector & ignore you once you inquire about what u paid for. They have no phone # (RED FLAG ) for sure. They're definitely going on my BOYCOTT list from now on and I have reported them to authorities that are already aware of them and investigating the number of complaints filed against them. SPEND ur money where your dollars are respected!! There's too many other places that will.
